As far as Monaco is concerned
Im torn.
Yes f1 has definitely outgrown the circuit. But it has also provided some stand out racing. Senna chasing down Prost in the wet '84 or Mansell with a broken foot in '92. (jeez im getting old).
This year’s mandatory two stop should have made an interesting change as it could give quicker cars more strategic options for gaining position.

Unfortunately the stewards allowed it to be a farce of an event and a disgrace to competition. They have a black and white driving standard flag - I only imagine they didn’t use it because there might be something political going on the has benefit of it being a ‘boring” or “bad” race.

Not very promising having a F1 race at MADring in 10 months looking at the construction side:

Rumour has it there hasn't been any work done for weeks, Imola and Istanbul Park are on standby to step in.

Nothing official of course. https://www.gpblog.com/en/news/madring-doubts-in-2026-as-delays-put-new-f1-street-race-at-risk

It wouldn't be proper Spanish construction if it wasn't halted midway for a number of years. I imagine the pit complex is a couple of stories of cinder block topped off with a couple more concrete floor levels held up with wooden scaffolding posts.

So we should expect the Madring to be done no earlier than 2126?

More bits from Bangkok.

Like in my last post, this should be more like Melbourne and not Singapore, bit towards Mexico or Adelaide in "reverse", unlike Adelaide much more permannt circuit in the Park and bits of real roads street course.

Planned Chatuchak Park, Queen Sirikit Park and Wachirabenchathat Park (Rot Fai Park) would more like Melbourne than Baku/Vegas/Monaco.

5.7 km, 18 turns, most parts permanent with grass runoffs

planned 5 year contract 2028-2032 and race in March or September

This was posted too but clearly not 18 turns and the long right hander in the west is an elevated toll road, I don't see F1 cars getting up there and down on 2-lane ramps which aren't there in the north, in the end probably a mix of both:

This toll both is also on the proposed road. Would be an interesting obstacle but we're not in an arcade video game...
