Nope, it's very rare that someone speaks japanese here. I was kinda suprised when I saw it on TV. But out of the three judges, if someone suddenly had to burst out speaking japanse, it would be her.
Some of those MST3K shorts were incredibly funny. They released several VHS tapes of just the shorts. My parents have 3 of them, and they're all gut-busting laughter from start to finish.
^ I have one of those, it's good but it never quite gets toast right... very handy for baked potatoes and hot chocolate though...
