Sooo true, they claim you have to do prereqs to get a 'balanced education'. If that's the case, let me pick my own prereqs. Like that will ever happen, if so, they'd have 40 PE teachers on staff
I had to buy and sell comics for almost 3 years to wipe away my $30,000 in student loan debt. College is over-rated for 90% of the degrees out there. Doctors, lawyers, teachers, nurses, pharmacists, engineers, computer science, etc. Those are degrees to get in college. If you want to study music, english, poetry, art history, history, communications, business, dance....save your money and just start working after high school. Sure you may make more money with a whatever degree (not guaranteed btw), but after you factor in the student loan debt, the years you get income and experience earlier, it's not a bad choice.
