Ok, but there is nothing new, no?

EDIT: and yeah.. it is 🤬 expensive... for the 6 cars 6€ and for one track 5€? Huh?

EDIT: And again on Czech PS Store, where I will buy this DLC, is everything at least about 2€ more expensive then on US or UK store...

I have to say €6 for 6 cars is perfectly acceptable given the work PD puts in to develop them.

Yeah, so when in GT5 is 200+ premium cars, should it cost about 200+€?

It is quite expensive compared to the last packs. If it ends up being over £9 for both I will have to think about it - that's nearly a quarter of the cost of the original game for 1/150th of the content in the game. If the DLC is going to be priced at the proposed Euro's, wouldn't that make the original game worth £130+? (Based on cars)

I want Complete Pack 2 for a good price

$1 per car is very reasonable to me, especially since just a hot wheel's car cost's over $2 nowadays.

It's still a very dangerous point of view to adopt. Imagine GTX had over 3000 premium + quality models. Each one sold to the end user for $1. That's bad for gamers. There needs to be more substance in the packs to be truly worthwhile.

My thoughts exactly. With $1 I can get a barely decent beer and it won't thrill me as much as driving that V12 Group C Jaguar on an oval test course at 350 Km/H. And the cars we get are more detailed than a Hot Wheels.

Getting a PSN card where I live is a bit of a pain in the arse, and I end up paying a bit more than what it's actually worth but it's been worth it so far with the previous DLC packs, and this one looks like the best of them all!

And anyways, as a petrolhead I've bought more expensive magazines/die-casts than that.

You also have to look at it by how much work it takes to get us the DLC cars. With all the other cars in the game, they are all programmed and slapped onto the disk before it's release. With the DLC, the data has to go through quite a bit more hands before it gets to us.

Awesome!
I really hope the test track thing will be good. The Jag is the pinnacle of the DLC for me. :sly:

Things sold in bulk tend to sell at a lower rate and the faster the product moves the price will be lower. The DLC has fewer cars and will likely sell fewer times than the game itself. So DLC content has a higher price per car/track than the game did. I think the price is a touch high if Polyphony releases lots of DLC, but personally I'm happy to support Gran Turismo.

£4.79 for the Car Pack and £3.19 for the Speed Test Pack.

forza 4 already got the aventador and the leaf and the vantage im happy that they r comming to gt5 too

Exactly, £3.20 for a big oval and features relating to it removed after being in all previous GT games. No chance i'm buying that, I suspect most of the 'i'll give PD money for anything' brigade will be though.

Although my Walmart still sells Hot Wheels for $.99. I have my wife pick one up for me every week when she goes shopping.

$1 per car isn't bad, and $5 for a working Test Track is pretty good in my book.

 I'm sure the underwhelming gasp of surprise has you baffled.

I would love to see your reaction if you checked what codemasters did in Dirt3 when it comes to paying their DLC's if you wanted them

Free update with paid DLC. PD should advertise it that way.

👍 👍 👍 👍

Yeah, but none of those had Eiger. Or Spa. Or Nurburg GP.
Or 24 hrs time change on the Ring that looks beautifully realistic with BBQ's and all.

I don't understand why we have to pay for a Premium model of the Jag when it is already a Standard in the game. Scam and an attempt to say "we have more cars" if you ask me.

Still will be buying tho. I want that V12 Vantage!

$1 per car is bad now? for real people, they do it for your money, they'll not give DLC away for free, get over it, you can always choose to not buy it, last DLC wasn't priced the same? deal with it...

Reasonable, until you realize that each car takes about six months to replicate. That, and the fact that this Jag is a legendary race car. I think replicating the race cars in GT5 are just a teeny tiny bit more hellish to REproduce than the standard race/manufacturer cars.

We were promised a while back that some standard cars will be made premium, and if you ask me, that's great! According to one of the recent polls, many drive using the cockpit view, and as there are only a few Le Mans Cars in Premium, I welcome such cars.
There's a little something for everyone in this upcoming car pack, and perhaps their most electic one yet. Don't be surprised to see more of these conversions of standard to preium cars in the future. Would there be complaints if the bugatti veyron or XJ220 made it premium?

Not me. Id love either of them. Perhaps on of the zondas aswell!

For about a year this site was full of people complaining that PD hadn't given us DLC. Now we are getting a steady stream of DLC and this site is full of people complaining about having to pay for the DLC. There really is no pleasing some people. I guess it's PD's fault for giving us so many cars in the first DLC pack, now if they do anything less people are going to complain that they've been ripped off somehow.

Myself, I will buy every bit of DLC that comes out just as my way of saying thank you to PD for the numerous updates they have given us to improve the game. It's not a perfect game, it never will be and they've had to make compromises to work around the limited RAM in the console. But in this day and age it's amazing to see a company stand behind and support their product so long after release and I applaud them for it. They've even given us at least 3 or 4 cars for free, how many other developers have done that?
