The game erase my save file and force me back to main menu

I was in my GT mode and not sure what I did wrong.I'm just concern if I did anything wrong in the game.

I also want to let you know the game doesn't let me do anything in the main menu.SHould I wait for a patch for the game.I also deleted my save game for the game.Should I delete the game date?

Add a new PS3 user and start a new game. That will tell you if the game itself is hosed or just your old user's game.

Yes, add new user on the console then start GT5 signed in as the new user. You can have as many games going as you want. They just cant talk to each other. You don't have to sign up for the online part right away. Just ingore all the nags.

The game is now working okay but GT mode is getting harder as I go.Not sure I'm using the correct car or what to do first when I start my GT mode.I tend to rush in video games like this.
