... Two men are in the desert, each riding a camel. As they ride along, they decide to make things interesting with a little wager. They decide on a race. A race to oasis ahead in the distance. But rather than make this a regular race, they decide to add a twist. The man who's camel arrives second will be crowned victorious.
The two men wait around in the hot sun for a couple of hours, while their camels amble in all directions, but mainly towards their goal.
Then, along comes another man. He asks what the two men are doing standing around, letting their camels wander aimlessly! They inform him of the race they and the bet they have with each other. The third man thinks fora minute, then gets down of his camel and whispers in each man's ear.
Moments later, the two men leap onto the camels, and ride off at full steam towards the oasis... :odd:

What did the third man say to the two men?
OK - sorry I'm late, got caught up at work.

Anyway, are y'all ready for this?

He said: "Why don't you ride the other man's camel?"

Man A rides Man B's camel and Man B rides Man A's camel. If Man A arrives first, then his camel will have arrived second and he'll win...

Meh.

Someone else's go now.

Could have got a cheap radio from a charity shop ;)

The camel one was good, I didn't think of that at all.

Ok, next:

A woman had two sons who were born on the same hour of the same day of the same year......but they were not twins.
How could this be?

911_Carrera
Ooh, because there was a third son or a daughter so they were triplets?
Could be.

How about two separate women carried the woman's children for her (surrogate mother type stuff) and they were both born on the same hour... but obviously by different mothers. Two sons, yet two separate births at the same time...

I think 911_Carrera's is better. :)

Yep, this was the answer I was looking for 👍

The mother had triplets, quadruplets...etc

Carry on...

I was actually caught out with one of those a while ago at a poker night. One of my brother's friends asked me how many legs a horse had if it lifted one off the ground and I said "three" :(

Never again shall I fall for one of those silly, simple ones (hopefully).

Ok, next:

During the second world war and a bomber is flying over Berlin. Everything is functioning properly, it has a full load of bombs. The bomb doors are open and the bomber is over the target. The pilot presses the correct button to release the bombs, but nothing happens.

Why?

Ok, I'm leaving for uni just now, so whoever gets an answer they think is pretty good for the bomber one, they can go ahead and post another riddle/puzzle without my confirmation.

The button stops working?

I got one.

There is a barrel. Something is put in it that makes it lighter. What made it lighter is visible. What is it?

A helium ballon?

For the previous question. The bombardier presses the button for the bombs, not the pilot.

Can't be:

He pressed the right button. He should've pressed the left.

I don't know what bomb doors are, but perhaps the bomb bay doors were not open.

It has a full load of bombs, the bombs could be in a cargo hold, not in the bay.

Alternatively, the bombs were dropped earlier, he released them too soon and when he pressed the button again over the target there was no longer any bombs on board.

It is neither a torch, nor a helium baloon.

I'll be more specific. What made it lighter is reffered to as a noun. It makes the barrel have less weight. (Not "lighter" as in brighter)

A hole?

A time when they’re green, a time when they’re brown,
But both of these times, cause me to frown.
But just in between, for a very short while,
They’re perfect and yellow, and cause me to smile!
What am I talking about here?
