Should have some progress pics up soon.

Had to pick up some thinner and another slightly broader-tipped brush, but all is good now.
 
Not much to say in here lately, but if someone goes away, at least gotta say enjoy the trip. So enjoy, Walter. At least do a bit of car spotting while you're there.

coloured pencil. To do a filter like that would have destroyed the finer details like eyelashes.

AOS is attracted to eyelashes. I worked on an OC on the train ride home, just going to work on developing some style of eyes (yes it will have eyelashes). I have to make it good because I plan on getting an illustration done and printed before the end of the semester so I can stick that on my joystick. John is so excited right now/

It's moe-boe. And yes, Apocalyptic, indeed. But I've been way busy with work, that's why I haven't posted much in here or at all. Heck, I'm still missing the Hot Wheels pictures I promissed like a month ago.

Pencil. And the guy knows what he's doing... I'm talking mainly in color use, not so much so in stroke technique.

No one can, and it's even worse (better) now that he is actually doing panning shots of the cars instead of just documenting them. That was like the final missing link. Once he gets better at it and starts actually composing each and every pic he shoots, it's going to be nuts.

But that doesn't detter from catching a cool car on the street in any manner. Get to it, Walter.
 
Well... I ended up finding it on my own, but thanks anyway. :lol:

Sometime in the nearish future, I'm probably gonna pick up a nice camera and take up photography. And I guess cars would be a pretty fun thing to photograph, so... chyea we'll see. :)

Been looking at the kit on dalong. Many details need to be corrected :dopey:. Just giving tips foo...

The head looks so horrid :yuck:. Run a needle file through the panel lines. cut the vulcan pod off and attach it to the inner frame (head). Sand the vulcans down so that they appear the right way linear. Straighten the tip of the horn with a x-acto knife. Run your X-acto knife through the eye lens part.

I will not paint such pieces without some heavy modification. 👍

His strokes aren't wrong; they're just boring.

Nice camera, James. Don't listen to Jeff. You know how to buff photos so get a nice camera to ensure a nice photo and then buff that up to get sexy photos.

I know that a modest digital camera, for most intents and purposes, is good enough. I've actually already got a reasonably decent one... which I stupidly left back in Texas while I was on leave for New Years. :ouch:

I'll be taking photos in Singapore with my iPod Touch, which is... adequate. :indiff:

But really, I do find photography quite interesting. And being in the Navy will provide lots of great opportunities, so yeah... I'd think I'd like to invest in a nice camera. I might end up rubbish at it, but if I don't spend a lot of money on a camera that's wasted on my awful photography skills, I'd just spend it on some other useless electronic junk anyway, so... :lol:

Mine's semi-cleared, and has been for too long...

I really need to quit being lazy and get to work on dat Lain profile.

I'll probably make some mock-ups while I'm away from Sandy Eggo, and then implement the best of my ideas when I get back in about a month. :)
