Generally, what ratio of paint-to-thinner do you use? Does it differ from surface types?

I don't have a dripper anymore, so I have no idea. I poured a little bit directly from the bottle into the paint bottle, shook it up and it applies fine if I use the mixing match I was using when the paint first arrived.

Think it could be this incredibly thin-tipped brush?

And, shut up, Dra-V... :p

Stop what you are doing and WAIT!!!! Wait till you buy more supplies to get it done. Also post pics. It can also be what you using to thin your paint.

Also I think the paint to thinner ratio is different for airbrushes. So try doing some trial and error by using very little thinner at first foo.

I'm using Mr. Color Thinner.

Exactly what I'm supposed to be using (although I could bought the 91% alcohol in a lot of 10 for the same price). I have a second bottle of the same paint; if I still need more stuff I'm going to go back to touching up Wing Gundam.

I don't get how people can leave unfinished paintjobs for another time.

If I started on some project, I just want to keep on working on it until it's done.

Someone has alot of sanding, puttying, and priming to do :dopey:. Sinanju isnt ready for paint 👍.

Best thing to do is touch up Wing Gundam for practice. This time dont make a huge batch of thinned paint. Make your own paint to thinner ratio. Which ever gives the best results is the winner. Also use a small pallet/bowl with a small volume of paint foo.

That'd be the case here as well if I started. :p

I've been painting on broken pieces from older kits, or pieces I have no intention of ever using.

Its so dead the pony thread is on a roll. Tyring to find a ZZ gundam OST song. Its the song played whenever the 3 parts of ZZ gundam are docking together (initiation of a ass kicking:dopey:)

Its easier said than done when it comes to plastic modeling. If I screw up the paint it usually ends up sitting for months before I try painting it again.

I've almost seen more One Piece now than Naruto Shippuden. I've seen 1-245 for Naruto Shippuden, and as for One Piece, 1-104, 391-491, 493-533, so that's 244 episodes. Going to hit the point where One Piece becomes the anime I've watched the second most episodes of tonight.

This still remains the surprise show of the season. People were expecting it to be fanservice trash, but no, there's next to no fanservice, and it's actually quite good. Goes to show how much a title can fool people.

-> Somehow that Mouretsu Pirate ship is oddly familiar to this ship:

Did Satelite work on that? If so, that could explain it.

Sigh, I wonder if Aniplex USA will do anything with this still. I want it, bad. If they don't bring it over, I'll try importing it from Amazon Japan. 2012 will be devoted to anime quite a bit. Only a bit longer before I can start mowing the lawn again for cash, and then get a real job.
Durarara!! Blu-ray Box (Contains English subs, and the English dub by Aniplex of America.)

Her hair IS too short. I liked her ponytail.

Goddamn it, you're not taking Shinobu from me, I will not accept a result such as that.

Saaaaameee heeeereeee! But you saw Bakemono first, damn you!

I will never give up Shinobu, ask sly how determined I can be when it comes to blonde lolis.

I didn't watch it yet. My heart yearns.
It's the greatest episode yet.

ALL SHINOBU <3
