This is just for fun really. Otherwise, I'd just get a high-end DSLR. I'll be getting one of those eventually, for taking really nice photos. But for now, I just wanna have some fun dabbling in this silly stuff.

Sure, $70 for a pinhole camera is a little high, considering that for a little more you could get a cheap digital camera which'll blow it out of the water. But like I said, image quality isn't really a concern. I could possibly make a pinhole camera for cheaper, but that's a bit of a hassle.

The only thing which might possibly be able to claim to be on the same level as Bebop is the original Ghost in the Shell movie. Sorry EVA geeks, until the final re-releases come out, I'll have to say NGE is in 3rd all time. Bebop had it all. Awesome story, great animation for its time, great soundtrack, characters, humor and action, style. So great he tried again with Champloo, which for me is in the top 10 but not as good as the original.

It's hard to compare Cowboy Bebop to Ghost in the Shell... other than the fact that they're sci-fi, they're very different. It's almost like comparing 2001: A Space Odyssey to Cowboys and Aliens. :lol:

I'll agree that they're overall better than Neon Genesis Evangelion though. Throughout NGE, there are numerous blemishes. It sometimes even feels like they were unsure about the direction they were going to ultimately go with it... Most likely due to budget cuts and having to compromise several things, most notably the ending. Taken overall, and with EoE, NGE is great. And me being particularly fond of EoE, NGE is my personal favorite series. But NGE by itself feels very rough around the edges and ultimately falls shy of greatness.

Word has it Madokami is 1/8th scale despite looking like a 1/7th. For this, she is on my wishlist now, most likely the next figurine I'm purchasing.

Up to Ep. 15 of Death Note now. I'm impressed at how it slaps you in the face with a twist when you think that it's going to reach a climax. 👍

Among the anime community it's mainstream, but the general public outside Japan, never. The show hasn't been seen on US TV for 4-5 years even.

For the most part I agree. Most Figmas look bad with the exception of a few. Revoltechs always seem to look better IMO. I hate Nendos. And for regular figures 1/8th is the smallest I like with 1/6th being preferred.

P4A is tailored to teens in particular. You can tell this by the style of music and character design.

OK, now we get moving with her learning how to be a pirate. The fight setup was hilarious and fun... Love how much of a ditz and yet she's a smart attentive woman. Next episode, should be pretty good because she gets her real first test!

That reminds me, I have an essay to finish...


At least English is the only boring class I have this semester. Right now in Videography we're learning how to shoot and edit dialogue. And in Camera & Lighting we're learning how to light subjects against a green screen and lighting the green screen itself.

It's 2:16 AM here. 3 hours passed and I'm not even done wiht my poster. procrastination :lol:
 
Essays suck, and I'm going to have to do a lot of them this semester. My schedule doesn't allow me to have the grade 12 English that I wanted, but I still want to finish off grade 12 English this semester. It sucks.
 
Essays are fine for me only if I didn't get writer's block the moment my teacher assigns me one... :lol:
