BT -> I didn't get the chance of watching TTGL ep.6 last night since I slept early...

-> I'm also planning to continue watching Nichijou, Minami-ke 2nd season, continue Hell Girl 3rd season, Golgo 13, Oreimo, and that Subaru-sponsored anime.

:)

Quiz: What film contains this one scene with a middle-aged couple in their kitchen when suddenly a giant pair of hands rips the roof and walls off their house?

hint: It's Ghibli or similar.

I suppose I might as well join in...

I weigh about 75kg and I'm 1,88m high. No idea how much that is in the dumb measurement units you guys use.
Me, 134 pounds, and I'm like 5'10", 5'11".
Tell me more.
Already explained in bits about the set that angered the anime community, and led to the Japanese discovering further to make more people import (And rake in more cash. Though it's not like they're Activision rich.), all they have to do is put English subtitles on the Blu-ray, and voila, more people want to import. They pretty much don't need to rely on FUNimation, Media Blasters, NIS America, etc. as much anymore. They can cut out the middleman entirely. If R1 collapses, you can bet you'll see a bunch of Blu-ray boxes with English subtitles for about $350 here. Of course, it would be only the stuff they expect to actually sell here. You got to be wise with what you bring over as a $350 import.

Also it's thanks to that set selling out quickly Aniplex USA decided bringing over Fate/Zero as an import with an English translated booklet. It's expected to sell out.

The Garden of Sinners decision was probably influenced by how Bandai Visual got pretty good sales bringing the Gundam Unicorn Blu-rays over. Basically $60 MSRP (Cheaper than the Amazon Japan discount.) for an hours worth of content, and it still did well.
Looked this up and it seems interesting. Since I've already watched Mayo Chiki I'm all for watching it in the stream instead :p
I've heard from many people who like mecha and harems hated Infinite Stratos. It's a mixed bag show it seems where there's about as much love and hate. Though I see more hate for the show than love.

I'm intending on giving it a shot sometime though.
Ah the 90s... Doug, Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, Toonami. good times.

So what's everyone's take on Code Geass? I was looking at getting both seasons last night.
It's absolutely awesome. You should almost feel ashamed for not having seen it earlier. Also shame that the Code Geass R2 Anime Legends set is one of the last things Bandai Entertainment ever released. They now are no longer releasing anything now.:(
Yes, and I wish they would get over it. Toonami has been gone for 3 years, and they fail to realize why. The ratings tanked, and CN doesn't give much of a crap about anime, something that is quite expensive to air (They air only toyetic stuff while [as] handles stuff like InuYasha, Gits: SAC, Cowboy Bebop, FMA:B, etc.).

Also one thing that makes me facepalm is when people say "Revive Toonami and bring back all the old shows.", they fail to realize CN can't really bring back the old shows. Many would straight up bomb on TV now, they lost the airing rights to most anime that aired (They still have the rights to the original Naruto IIRC, even though it's been off the air for a good 3 years now.), too old to work on a kid's channel now, and some shows are long OOP. Sailor Moon, the license to that expired a LONG time ago. It's impossible to put it on TV again right now as no one here has the license.

It was a great block, and I do miss it, but I've gotten over it being cancelled like two years ago. If it returns great, if not, oh well.
Oh Toonami otaku, when will you learn? Also that site has been around since around the time Toonami got cancelled September 20, 2008.

Her boobs are too big.
No they aren't!:grumpy:
Maybe a little but I'm still staring though. :p

What is this Toonami Aftermath? I'm on the site and absolutely nothing is going on.
Basically it's a site a bunch of people whining about Toonami being cancelled and couldn't deal with it made that plays shows from Toonami's schedule from like when it launched March, 1997 all the way to its last broadcast, September 20, 2008's broadcast with Samurai Jack being the last show on the schedule. To my knowledge, it's an illegal streaming site/pirate site.

Are you talking about Arrietty?

Put some meat on your bones, boy! I'm something like 6'0 and 160! Start bench pressing cheeseburgers or something!
I blame video games mainly. When I was hungry, it wouldn't stop me. I'd be playing on an empty stomach for hours!

And yeah, I need more meat on my bones.:(

The only anime that can actually get in theaters here for something that isn't a one-night showing, Ghibli films which can be considered mainstream.

I'm planning on seeing it in theaters. I mean it's Miyazaki, it's a must-see film automatically.

Since we're doing measurements I guess I could describe my weakness...

It's been a while since I was actually measured for height and weight but I would reckon on about 5'6" now for height, weight I'm probably like 115lbs though...

Quick question, did you convert correctly from the metric system?:trouble:

"Wow, and I thought Yoko Strip-ner's back was going to get nasty side-effects..."
"What is it with you and big boobs?"
"Fine! I'm jealous of Mari's big boobs and that jealousy spread to others! Happy now?"
"D'awwwwwwww, I'm so flattered. Now, about you dissing CoD..."
*stuffs chloroform-soaked rag in Mari's mouth* "DK, get out of this room for a while."

Up to episode 5 (What can I say? Harem shows are my weak spot :3) and the show is quite meh so far. Too little ecchi, uninteresting characters... definitely one of the weaker harems I've seen.

It's okay, he's probably never touched the metric system in his entire life.
They push the metric system on you in all science classes from middle school onward here, and believe me, it's a pain having to convert all the time.

Guess I shouldn't go into it expecting much. Maybe it being like a 6/10.

Anyway, I guess this is why people are wondering heavily how it topped the charts (All the volumes sold like 20,000+ BD's week 1.). People who watched the show are puzzled, but then again, tastes differ between Japan and us.

Thing was the 44th best-selling BD in 2011 in Japan.

I'd say I weigh about 75kg and I'm 170cm tall.

And I still get my arse handed to me by someone who weighs 30kg less than me.

Bun him, I'm shorter.
Maybe you should have a height complex like Edward ;)

And yes, I know you're shorter sweetie <3

Edit: ommmgggggg papa no kiki 2
That's... pretty depressing. I was expecting a moe comedy, man! :(

New info on Gundam Unicorn will be disclosed later this month:dopey:.

Look at Marida wearing the Banshee Gundam pilot suit. The design of the pilot suit is VERY VERY well done:tup:.

Might as well start posting penis sizes.... (off topicness)
