Reborn! 37-40
The battle for the Vongola Rings, and who will be the successor to Vongola IX begins. Things are about to get epic.
Now it's a 9/10 show for me.

Oh. I also forgot to say this last night:

The ribcage collision in Nisem 8 was hilarious.

That Nisemonogatari ep was bad, I feel like dropping the show. Fanservice for 20 minutes, thanks, that's exactly what got you all your fans. Nisemono has been absolutely terrible compared to Bakemono, neither have ever been watched for plot since they're solely character driven shows, but come on, Nisemono has just been a pile of unneeded fanservice since the first ep and I've had enough... amirite guys? inb4no

I understand what you mean. I'm up to episode 7 of Bakemo and it is much better than what I saw of Nisem. It's kind of saddening that it deteriorated into pretty much nothing more than fanservice.

But unlike you I do enjoy my fair share of fanservice. If epi 8 is any indication of how the fanservice is in this show, I'll be happy with it. I do hope the show eventually moves on though. After realizing it can be so much more, it would be a shame to see it's charm fade.

Really? But it has only 11 episodes... they aren't covering all the novel then? Bakemo apparently needed 15 episodes to do so.

I'm not following the novel... I don't know if it actually is, all I'm saying is that it feels like filler.

But at least that filler isn't sour or stale.

It's not filler. It's following both Nise novels fairly well too.

I think they are. The novel is just extremely fanservice-y(apparently).
While it might be fanservice filler, you have to admit it; that fanservice fineeeee.... like you've never seen before.
Yes, it definitely is. I can go as far as to call it a paradox. It's filled with fanservice.... but it doesn't suck.

You don't need a full lenght of the opening, you need the full album, not Lain's soundtrack, but Boa's Twilight; trust me on this, please trust me, GET THE ALBUM. It's an incredibly well achieved power-pop record.

I remeber Walter bought it off Itunes for ten bucks. It's a freaking steal. One of my favorite albums of all time, and I'm not talking anime music.
Sweet, I'm going to get it.

When you think about it, it's moving fairly fast. Nisemonogatari is adopting only 2 novels, but Bakemonogatari did one novel in 15 episodes.

I don't see why everyone is complaining about the fanservice. This fanservice isn't like any other, it's very clever.

When I bought my copy it was 30+ bucks and I happily paid for it. Now go buy it for 10 and be happy, you'll like it as well, it's an excelent album.

...when I watch the show that is.

You don't need to watch the show, it is NOT Lain's soundtrack; in fact, Duvet and the entire album (which in Japan was called Race of a thousand camels if I remember correctly) was out before Lain, the show's team chose the song as it's opening. Twilight is an album that has abaolutely nothing to do with Lain, it's just a music CD.

He needs motivation from hearing Duvet in the show.

I would like that Yuno to drool over me, good cosplayer.

Rinne no Lagrage 8 was a very good episode. It's a shame there's not many left.
