Also Sephy why do I see Asuka in that outfit on a somewhat consistent basis...I haven't seen her in that outfit in the anime from my memory.
 
It's because some perverts imagined her in a sexualized maid uniform, then fan art came along, then figurines, then cosplay came running after.

edit: Some of supercell's work is actually cool. How he mixes acoustics with digital beats is nice and refreshing. I'm listening to this other one called Kurukuru Mark no Sugoi Yatsu and it mixes a synthesizer with mainstream rock and it sound pretty damn cool. All it needs is an off-vocal version. However at the same time, that's what I dislike about ryo; his compositions need vocals, but his choice of vocals is horrid.

Oh well, moving on, Bandai sent us a note this week to let us know that the Kurokami DVD's and BD's are now out of print. The BD's are already out of stock at Bandai and they will not be making anymore of either, so this one too is now on 'stock on hand' status, though we will try to keep them in stock as long as possible through secondary sources.

I really do like that by your logic, you are hurting the anime industry by not buying what isn't even for sale here.

More likely to come out of OOP status if they see people want it badly enough they are finding other sources.

Supposed to get my Code Geass and Disappearance DVD's in the mail, but I guess I'll get it tomorrow. I finally got my tails for my car and my Menma Nendo :)

Well, looks like CDJapan still has the Blu-rays (They contain the English dub, but no subs.), so I can always go the import route if I like the show enough after I watch the legal streams later this year.

It confuses me how a Japanese site has the blu-rays of a show with an English dub and no Japanese subs. Even if the site is meant for both regions.

By no subs, I meant no English subtitles. They have Japanese subtitles on them. They have the Korean, English, and Japanese audio also on them.

Also the reason why they have Korean audio is the result of this.

The simulcast they did can be considered a disaster due to how they ended up releasing the show here. The Blu-rays here ended up being dubbed-only to prevent reverse-importation.
