I disagree partially. The figurine stands 330mm tall. 1/8th scale figures stand in the range of 210-260mm and even those propped up like Madoka reach at about 290mm.

Other than that, this figurine has been worked on extensively and it is HELLA popular for its fabulous (yes fabulous) presentation and pose.

Speaking about price, I'm pre-ordering this on HobbySearch and getting 50% off the shipping.


edit: Wow I can't believe I actually wrote "believe it." Honestly don't remember typing that.
 
I really like the Madoka figurine. I would definitely get it (shall be my 1st anime figurine as well). But me nor my parents don't have the money.. Perhaps I'll shop for another figurine.

They do look beautiful. I can't imagine how much more prettier it will become when it's painted.

The bottom figure "Touhou" one looks delicious in grey id love to see it painted.

I haven't photographed my figurines in ages... I just don't go far enough with my setups to produce imaginative stuff.

I want to get black Acrylic so bad.... All the dark photos I could be taking, oh my gosh :3
 
You must be talking about the Rei. That is the entire opposite of the celebration of that post.

They also had a live stream demo of her last night; the base is reportedly sturdier than Sean thinks. The bow wobbles a bit, but that's it.


Someone else had taken note of what the representatives said on stream (may be inaccurate)
-There are plans to make the bow diecast so it won't break.
-The lowest layer of the skirt will be made of ABS for the same reason. This explains why the pink layer is so damn glossy.
-For packaging, the bow will be removed, the rest probably not (didn't understand completely what they said about the wings because two people were talking at the same time)
-The pink flower thing on the bow is not removable, instead there will be two bows, one with and one without.
-According to official information, Ultimate Madoka is taller than normal Madoka, that's why the figure is taller too.

I'm not too impress with Tasha's, i thought she would do more wicked cosplay but well, at least it's new set to me.



Seeing both of them with my own eyes...i swear i almost got nosebleed...especially Miyuko. Dammit she's beautiful!

Well, i got to see them again tommorow. If i'm lucky enough, i'll bombard with their photos...
 
I just hope she would do different cosplay tommorow. :x
It's darn hot here, 70% chances she will do another...

You know exactly which shounen I'm talking about. Do I need to type them out for you?

Did I ever say I don't like shounen? No. So stop putting words in my mouth. I like shows that are also shounen.

When you say "Shonen", you're referring to an entire genre/demographic. It refers to shows like Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT, Soul Eater, Fullmetal Alchemist, Blue Exorcist, Reborn!, Gintama, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Rave Master, Eyeshield 21, InuYasha, Fairy Tail, Toriko, Hunter x Hunter, Death Note, Guilty Crown, Accel World, Shakugan no Shana, Kiba, Bakuman., and I can go on forever.

How am I supposed to know which when you just put "DBZ/Shonen"? Most of these lasted a long time (For example, FMA-the manga-lasted nearly NINE years. If Studio Pierrot got their hands on the anime instead of Bones, it would have been in filler city for like five years.), and many are still on-going. Many are also repetitive (But how many things don't at times?).

Also I didn't say you don't like any Shonen, but what you said implies you have moved on from many, like you matured, and those still watching many of these are immature. I take offense to that as it's like you're calling me immature and saying my taste in anime is bad because I'm watching shows like One Piece, Naruto Shippuden, Hunter x Hunter, and Katekyo Hitman Reborn!.

Let's not forget you have put words in my mouth before. Remember when you got angry over me liking Okami-San more than Accel World ("Stop liking what I don't like." being the issue)? You went "There sure is a bias towards Shonen in here.", which goes into "He finds X show good just because it's Shonen.".

These Shonens that I love I don't love just because they're Shonen. It's retarded for me to think they're good just because they're Shonen. I look at things other than the fact it's Shonen.

Does it have a good story? Are the characters good? Is it enjoyable at all?

Those are some of the things I look for in every anime I watch.

I don't even spend nearly as much time here as many people do and after only reading for 1 minute, I'm annoyed. I don't know what this is about and I don't care, I hate the arguing and I'd like it to be dropped.
