You like who you want to like.
Everyone likes what they like, but they should at the very least explain or prove their fondness, through words, or supporting evidence to those claims. I'm curious to what made a character so likable by another member, so I asked for a further explanation (in this case proof). I did so specifically because I couldn't find a whole lot of video samples of her appealing voice. This is not to say I'm determined to convince myself she sounds annoying, I made that judgment based on one video, which you could probably agree that isn't really accurate or "fair". I've explained couple times why I like Alicia's character, so it's not impossible to do.
A question was raised about what about Hibiki that strikes otakukid's interest, so to respond to that appropriately, an explanation (even a brief is sufficient) would be lovely. However, another candidate enters and challenges his reasoning. He isn't there to belittle another's interest (despite how much it may seem), he's there to evoke further more in-depth reasoning from otakukid.
Does that sound better?
Simply brushing off someone who asks more question and entices an actual discussion as a jerk is pretty dumb.
