Just finished Uchyoo Senkan Yamato. I was impressed, it was better than I expected from late 70's/early 80's anime. and the movies were literally movies, 2H and 20-30 minutes. the characters were bit astro boy/speed racerish, but overall it was good. I recommend it.

Thought this was pretty funny.

Ummm... yyyeeeaaahhh..... yeah that was a wee bit random there....:odd:

Now on to business at hand... :sly:

Hatsukoi Limited... I like... very cute little love stories in there.. its JC Staff and they did Toradora! so that should be decent... Eden of the East is just plain cool and with the gentleman who did the Ghost in Shell series is directing, so you know its going to be pretty good. Now Asura Cryin', oy ey vey.. it this love story, Mech, or supernatural? Make up your damn mind whoever created this. Jeez, it would be a hell a lot easier to follow if you did that. K-On is A D O R A B L E. Like perfect balance said, No its not perfect in anyway (thank God!), but its got some :lol:s to make you smile. Anyway, off to relax a little.. see ya! :) --- Randy

Got into K-ON lol
Its good loved Mio in episode 4.

Hatsukoi limited I read the manga, started well but I think it dipped off lol
This is like last year since I read the ending.

Watching a 90's anime, got about 100 episodes, should keep me busy -Rurouni Kenshin

I didnt understand FMA brooda hood at the start, but its supposed to me the manga version right?

I can answer that! /dramatic entrance

FMA is the only anime I watch anymore, or for the past few years for that matter. I sort of grew disgusted with the art style of what I could see on television, but the style and setting of FMA set it distinctly apart from anything else I had seen. After watching the entire original series online in a three-day period last year, I read the manga, and am now keeping up with it. I've even taken to watching subs of Brotherhood until the dubs get started.

Anyway, to answer your question, the first episode was filler to differentiate it from the first series, but it is now following the storyline of the manga. There are some insignificant details that have been changed so far, (three episodes). It looks like the chronology of events early in the series may have been shifted around, but we'll have to wait and see about that.

I'm really looking forward to this series, the military/espionage action starting in the middle of the manga is in stark contrast to the original anime, and I prefer the route the manga takes to reach the climax, which may be coming shortly.

BTW, hilarious pic, L_Hamilton

I have noticed that about FMA: Brotherhood myself! It looks like the opening episodes of the original but its a little different... hmmm Glad you like K-ON! Fujiwara-Kun... I just read the manga of Hatsukoi Limited myself.. really cute and the anime looks interesting... I'm going give it some time... Eden of the East is what I am really, Really, REALLY digging right now.. Anyway, got to go... oh still not getting at all Asura Cryin'. I don't think its going to last... --- Randy

Starting to be even more intrigued with Asura Cryin'... very interesting... I'm going to check out Phantom (its now available on FUNimation's site), and then I have been reading some Manga too (thanks to www.mangafox.com). So what have been reading?

Futari Ecchi (Let's just say NOT for anyone under the age of 18)
Kimi no Iru Machi (Done by Seo Kouji who did Suzuka)
Kodomo No Jikan (Very, very funny!)

Randy

Futari Ecchi wasn't too bad compared with the anime version. It wasn't graphic like Battle Royal and Mitsuko.

Ah, I see..... Right now checking out the anime of Futari Ecchi. Huh.... hmmm... Japanese voice of Keitaro from Love Hina Yuji Ueda is Makoto... Tomoko Kawaka plays the voice of Yura (Sumi in Amaenaideyo!!)... Wonder why they couldn't get Yui Horie.... haha LOL...

Asura Cryin' is a show I am starting to like... Getting pretty good... K-ON! is just plain awesomely cute, and do me a favor... if you haven't seen Eden of the East, yet... go now and start with the first episode.

Black Lagoon is just awesome in general. Period.

FMP! kind of is soft and fun compared to Black Lagoon, which gets really heavy sometimes, to the point of just depressing.

I haven't watched the Bleach anime in ages... Kind of gave up on it, just wasn't as compelling as the Manga.
