Plus, the Dominator's purpose conflicts with the protag's morals... that's another thing that keeps the story moving.

I don't really care as much as you think I do, but not putting stuff in spoilers when they should be is still inconsiderate.
 
I see you forgot about our last Haruhi argument back at ARM where you spoiled a bit of Disappearance for those that had seen seasons 1 and 2...

Nah, the difference is that I had hinted heavily the reason behind Endless Eight, what you draw from my posts is up to your discretion. I didn't outright post any spoilers out in the open. And regarding that post, that's water under the bridge for me.

Just spoil tag it if it looks sensitive enough, simple stuff.

It also seems the Steins;Gate movie will be coming out in Spring.

He's got the beef and I don't want any. Did I bring up anything regarding Haruhi or ARM? Nope!

I would have said the same thing to anyone else. It really is a spoiler. I thought they were going to build tiny robots, fight them out, and have an underdog story similar to that of Real Steel. But NASA? Madness!

Sells? As far as I can tell, Psycho-Pass is not projected to be some really big hit, or a hit at all (It's not going to sell bad though like the vast majority of noitaminA shows did, that much is certain).

The only way I could see it being a hit is if it becomes a hit with fujoshi (As when they love a show, they buy in droves. See: Gintama and Kuroko's Basketball-latest hit with fujoshi.), which wouldn't be very surprising considering Akira Amano is the character designer.

As for the Dominator, it's more of the killing people on the spot rather than the way it eliminates the target (By blasting them to smithereens) that makes people question things (Really just the main girl, she is the only one of the main characters questioning the system).

Eureka Seven, I'm like 30 episodes in, and I feel that there were only 3 high points in the story. It's not consistently interesting, Anemone and Dominic barely has any presence, and it still isn't quite clear on why the government is after you-know-who.

For half the series being over, not much is revealed, nor has it been as interesting as FMA:B or Code Geass.

Eureka being a Coralian has a lot to do with it. And the story picks up when they actually get a destination instead of just wandering around scrapping for cash.
An' besides, you're already more than halfway, might as well finish it right?
 
And then the AEAD will disappear for another month or so...:p

Not really, as the current anime season is rather weak, the weakest I've seen in the years I've been watching shows as they air.
 
Watch Little Busters if you want your feels to be felt. Then tell me it's a horrible season. Always a gem.
 
I'd be watching that if it weren't for the fact nobody picked it up for simulcast. I'll wait for inevitable Sentai Filmworks license.

Other shows I wanted to watch but am not due to not being picked up for free legal streaming: The Kyoto Animation show whose name I can never remember fully (On Twitter people shorten it to #Chu2Koi), and JoJo, with the former having gotten picked up by TAN, which means crappy video player (Especially in HD), and needing a subscription to watch past episode 1.

Now the question is, will any of these be good? If Studio Pierrot or A-1 Pictures is picked as the animation studio, I'm going to freak. Shonen and them do not mix very well (Ex: See how A-1 adapted Sword Art Online and Magi-as I heard, they crammed 17 chapters into episodes 1-3...The pacing for that show is making it fall apart.), especially Pierrot because of many things.

Ex: When they have to do filler, they put little effort into it, causing those tiring episodic fillers. They should look at what Artland did with Reborn!. In that series they had the mangaka do two short filler arcs that actually added to the story (Thus being unskippable because they become important, and don't get forgotten in a few weeks) further developed the characters, and one appeared in the manga later on kinda as canon.

Anyway, I've read almost 100 chapters of Rin-Ne, and 6 volumes of Arata: The Legend (I'd be farther if anime buying hadn't taken over manga buying for various reasons), so I know what to expect, but it all depends on if the animation studio gets them right, which I doubt for the later.

Glad you like Little Busters, I'm actually surprised you weren't already watching it. I felt it started off pretty weak but episode 6 restored my faith in it.

Also Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo is actually shaping up to be the next Toradora IMO.

Yes Sly, it starts off slow, but I appreciate the small things. Like for example, "Muscles!". Oh, and the super awesome fights. They have so much epic action it makes action oriented shows like Bleach or BRS look like a trip to the library. If any of you think I'm being sarcastic, if a show can get me excited when one of the combatants is fighting with soap, it is going to have me watching it till the end.

Naw, a season with stuff like that would be even weaker.

"Oh look, we got explosions, screw the story, screw the characters! Action, action, action!"

The last thing we need is more BRS's, so full of 🤬 (And if you forgot, I hated BRS TV.).

And BTW, there is a show like a Michael Bay movie this season, BTOOOM!, though that at least manages to balance between the action, the story and character development.

Not really, as there's just Robotics;Notes, Shinsekai Yori (From the New World) and Jormungand: Perfect Order (You'd have to have watched S1 obviously to get the show).

Don't bother with Magi, it's falling apart. They're now focusing more on the action than the story and characters, partly thanks to them cramming so much material into such a small space causing ridiculously fast pacing...

It's like they're trying to cram the current 150+ chapters into 26 episodes.

Finished Crest of the Stars last night. Man that was awesome (This is the kind of stuff I really want to see, and remind me why I have a passion for anime), really loved Jinto and Lafiel's relationship. I do wonder how it will progress as I get farther in the series.

Started Banner of the Stars also last night. First thing I want to say is, the animation is much more fluid than season 1, so they really stepped things up. Unfortunately the show starts a little weaker than the first season did, but it does show potential.
