Just purchased vol 8 of Strawberry 100% at a anime con I just came back from.

And also purchased this.

I've been fighting with myself over getting an Azumanga Daioh box set. I know its a pretty good show, but I'm not sure whether its something I would actually like to watch.

That's an awesome collection you got there. Love the AzuDiaoh in top right, third pic.

A need to get a few more mangas and then I can move to having a bookshelf like yours.

I can't find Case Closed 24 ANYWHERE. At any bookstore or anime con. Last one I was at, they only had like 3. I guess I have to get it online.

Can somebody tell me what this so called "Anime" means? I've always heard of it and always wondered what it was.

I think, well at least for me, it will be a great addition to anyone's collection. I guess you can say it's the grandaddy of slice-of-life, school animes.

It's like Lucky Star, if you have ever seen it, but ...better. That's all I can say.

Watch the first episode. It introduces all the characters(except Kagura) and it really gives you the feel of the anime right off the bat. It's not a drama or something that you would have to wait a while to get interesting. It brings a smile to my face every time I watch it.👍

I looked on a ratings website for the best and worst anime shows and I had this to ask you:

1. How in the world was "Fullmetal Alchemist" :tdown:x2, and "Bleach" :tdown:x2 more rated than "Naruto"?

2. Also, how did "Sonic X", "Pokemon Chronicles", and "Yu-gi-oh" end up on the worst anime show list?

If anyone here knows why, please do tell!

Because Naruto sucks. So does Sonic X, most of Pokemon, and definitely Yu-gi-oh.

I'm not saying Bleach is much better, I'd give it an 80, and as for FMA, I'd give it a 90. The others I wouldn't rate over 60.
 
But I mean come on, honestly... If Ichigo or even Ed was to go against Naruto then they would lose! After all, Nine Tailed Fox trumps Soul Reaper and Alchemist ANY DAY! Not to mention you can NOT honestly say that Super Sonic, Super Shadow, Ash, Jimmy, Paul, and the 3 Egyptian god cards aren't cool! If you can say that, then all hope is lost for you...
 
Ichigo is some bastard creation of ass-eyed death creatures and pumped up human souls, but in a reasonably good show, Ed, he's weak, but in a good show, but Naruto go the short end of the stick, and given some proper story writers would be a damn good show. I'll give you that. Sonic was in a crappy show, I always hated Yu-gi-oh because it's grown men playing a child's card game, and as for Pokemon, I used to watch it as a kid. It's only the latest episodes I hate.
 
Well, I guess you got me there. By the way, why do you think 4kids got booted off the air? Me, I think it was because of the Super Bowl. What I mean was that 4kids got off the air after Super Bowl XLII happened because didn't CBS get the rights to the game that year? Because I know for a fact that FOX always got the rights to the game but lost it that year. So in turn, they decided to bump off 4kids (which Sonic X was on) because they lost a LOT of ad money that year due to not showing the super bowl. But this is just what I think.
 
I don't see what's so cool about Naruto. Bleach is interesting though. I'm loving the new zanpakuto arc.

^ I do like the series overall, the manga features more content (as always) compared to the anime version. I feel bad for Takako. :(
 
Have some of you watched devil May Cry anime? Its like 11 eps me thinks. Seen it a long time ago.:)

Anyone can recommend me a Anime worth to watch?
 
Yukikaze is short but decent. I recently finished it, and now I wnat more stuff like that. Macross frontier.. well, I got bit lost with that one, I didn't know which order they should've been watched..
