Don't worry Icarus, it wasn't you... just checked my junk e-mail folder and apparently they've been notifying me for a while that my subscription term was about to expire. But it shouldn't have... it says that my hosting package is still active and was renewed on the 6th, and they definitely got my money.

Just finished Wolf Children: Ami and Yuki.

It doesn't end like a fairy tale, and while I wanted it to, its ending was appropriate and perfectly acceptable. It's definitely enjoyable for all ages. Get on that.
 
Oh, thank god. I would have felt like crap if I ruined everything.

Hopefully they just blocked access and we don't have to completely re-do everything.

But on a more positive note, the bright side to the current situation is that now you can go watch a show or something rather than checking up on a forum.
 
Anime Update -> I'm not dumping pics at the moment, but I'm letting you guys know that I'm currently watching Bakemonogatari, Hoop Days, Haruhi-chan Suzumiya, & 2nd season of Ikki Tousen . I'll watch Initial D 5th, Rayearth, & TTGL (since I got the complete DVD) whenever I feel like it....

Manga Update -> I haven't read anything simply because my manga app on my phone is getting wonky... :(

You are absolutely right. However, there are a handful of anime shows that aren't at all a waste of time, and Evangelion is one of them indeed.

There isn't many other things you could be doing with your clothes on that would be as worthy of your time as the first 17 episodes of Evangelion. Specially not playing GT5, omg.

Now finish it and report back.
 
Man, if you graduate from GT, you'll feel so free to go do so many more exciting things.


Like watching a good anime for instance.

I think it's more worth it for the constant look of puzzlement on Shinji's face... And the fact Misato drives a Renault Alpine A310, the second coolest car ever produced. (With the Volvo 240 in first, obviously.)

Also, I've heard people "complain"* that the ending is really weird. Does it end with
Everyone dying from the radiation they've taken in from the number of nuclear blasts they have somehow survived unprotected?
by any chance?

You don't really need to though. She's as side of a character like your salad during dinner.

Alternatively, you can jump to ep 12 as it has no ties to the current plot. It's a development episode on her. Totally pointless for the show though. If they wanted to boost fanservice, they should've done the hot blonde Shion..
 
Black Lagoon is officially part of my small anime collection. Got it in the nick of time, too. 51% off one day, only 13% off the next. No OVA's, but those are hard to find.
