Brotherhood is basically a much, much better version of the 2003 version as it followed the manga more faithfully (2003 diverged and did its own thing instead of filler, especially as the manga was monthly) which resulted in far more interesting themes, plans by the main villain among other things.

The 2003 version still holds up (Still excellent) but compared to Brotherhood, it's nothing special. Funny how basically everyone just straight up abandoned it when Brotherhood came out. Won't be surprised if it falls into obscurity after being so well-known for so long.
 
I've been looking up old animes to see what I've been missing out on and last night was the highly acclaimed Akira. I love the cyberpunk theme going on which reminds me a lot of Blade Runner. So cool! :drool: I also noticed the style of the characters were different from the large-eyed, cute looking anime characters we're used to seeing today. The more you I know, right?

PS If any Gundam collectors here - I see you Hei - happen to come across one of this while out shopping, please do let me know. I've spent the whole weekend going around toy stores searching but couldn't find one. I want it. I need it. I must have it.

EDIT: After much searching, I've acquired. :D

Damn, after discovering NGE I'm gonna have to work overtime because there are so many things I want to buy! So many merchandise I need in my life! :crazy:

Amazon?.. Hmmm anyway, chilling out watching some anime tonight. Kinda nice to be back in the old forum. Also, is ARM currently down? I tried to log on and it's been crashing since 8pm.

Yeah, some problem with the DNS servers. Can anybody find Lain?

In the meantime you can access it by editing the hosts file in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Just add "192.254.160.52 ar-machine.net" (no quotes) to the end of it in a new line. You might need to restart your browser.

Well, Windows is keeping me from editing that particular file for some reason, so no to that.
 
You do need administrative privileges to edit it.
 
Try setting permissions to full control I guess
 
That fix didn't work for me. Hopefully it'll get sorted out soon.

Well, it's technically a security risk to give a regular account permission to edit that file. I highly doubt it would ever be a problem but still... :lol:

Did you try closing your browser? I had to with firefox.
 
Yeah I restarted my browser. Nothing, lol.
 
It didn't work for me either, even when restarting chrome.
 
Ok... I will restart Google Chrome here in a few.

I said that under assumption that he is using an admin account since he owns his lappy :lol:. But I know what you mean by a security risk.

Her new talkative character is kinda wrong. Did you catch how many times she said "desho" that one episode? I was like gotdamn! Hair's way too short, Even an added 3 or 3 inches wouldn't have been as bad... only if it was layered.

with so much to watch these days, I've finally watched the first 3 episodes of Attack On Titan. Im trying to get over my love of the oldies( Bubble Gum Crisis from 1990, Ninja Scroll, Macross, Gatchaman...). im seeing if the later episodes will get me into it.
