Kagome and Kikyo from Inuyasha have long black hair as does Yoruichi from Bleach although she keeps in a ponytail.

On another note...I did know know that PSG was created by the same team that did Gurren Lagann. Pretty crazy. Two completely different series. Maybe that's why PSG is so good, though.

Surely Unit-02 should be the Ducati? I mean, it's red.

Though I personally find MV Agusta cooler. So make it something like that instead.

Since the BD's got solicited recently and there's 9 of them, it'll be two-cours, so 24 or 26 episodes.
