You can watch KLK legally on Hulu and on Aniplex Channel. Links there wouldn't violate the "no warez/hax/cracks/illegal downloads" portion of the AUP.

However, I'm not gonna post a link since the content of the show probably runs afoul of the "please refrain from overdoing it on the fanservice" portion of the AUP.

Finally started watching Gurren Lagann. Up to the tenth episode and man, those Kamina feels...
 
Am I allowed to say that Gurren Lagann is over rated?

Awesome, easily in my top 10 anime, but over rated.
 
I suppose you are. I'm not an anime aficionado, though, I literally only watch Kill la Kill and TTGL at he moment.
 
Watch FLCL, it's by the same people, but better.

And then watch Madoka Magica for contrasting badassery.
 
I'm gunna finish TTGL first. I've hit a stage of catching up on TV shows I've missed. It'll be a toss up between FLCL and Breaking Bad next.
 
You can watch FLCL 8 times in a single day. Breaking Bad lasts 2 and a half days. I know which one I'd watch first.
 
After the 4th time I was starting to get to grips with it. Serial Experiments Lain is something which truly defies understanding.

Just watch both. FLCL is only 6 episodes long and you could literally burn through Breaking Bad S1 in the same day, since it also consists of 6 episodes.

I'll get around to watching FLCL when I'm ready. Or when I'm not busy Kill la Kill-ing... or turning my brain off to get through episodes of Space Dandy.

Then your brain is screwed and you need a lobotomy, since FLCL is perfectly undestandable from the third rewatch or so. From then on is just discovering awesome details and tiying some stuff up. Been there done that, 11 times iirc.

Still one of my favorite shows to watch with my niece and nephew. 👍

I thought that might have been what you were getting at... After the flaming I got last time I was critical of that I've decided to just keep quiet (relatively) and let everyone think I'm a close-minded fool who just picked up anime last year and only watches naruto/dbz. :sly:
 
The Powerpuff Girls was probably the closest thing western animation has ever produced to a Gainax show, to be honest. There's a noticeable similarity in the style, although I can't quite work out what.

As great as Breaking Bad is, I say go ahead and watch FLCL first. It's just as great as Breaking Bad (give or take, since they're extremely different), but it's very short and won't keep you from watching Breaking Bad for as long as Breaking Bad would keep you from watching FLCL.
