Does it fall into the same category as K-On?
Mhm, and what category would that be?

@vasiliflame I draw... dinosaurs with proper perspective and cars with broken perspective. I don't draw anime because I can't for the life of me draw humans. :( That wasn't your question.

I was about to post a link to Mark Crilley's Youtube when I realize that the vid you posted was his! He has a lot of awesome vids, tutorials and stuff. I'm subscribed but procrastination and all made me forgot about his channel...

Madoka is basically structured like a film, so it's best to watch it in one sitting if possible. Fortunately that's not especially difficult, as its total running time (including OPs and EDs) is only five hours.

K-ON falls into that category too.

What's your problem

He has no problem. He was trying to make a smart-ass response, like always.

Some of us may draw fan art of anime, or we may draw artwork in the style of Japanese manga, but it's unlikely that any of us actually draw anime.

Settle down there, Roger. I'm sure you've noticed vasiliflame didn't pick up on your humour.

Amazing dude, I normally draw in pen but if you mess up can be a right pain or waste of paper...

That's why I go with pen anyway. Reducing room for error forces you to not make mistakes, and if you do, you either work with it or you cover it up. Also, the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward. I have more respect for someone who draws in pen than pencil.

Anyone draw anime?

I do. But I don't have anything online to show off, and I don't have a scanner ): I'm quite good with a ballpen too. I'll see if I can scan some stuff when I get back to work, as I'm on vacation right now.

Just inked it up I am calling this one finished, It came out ok for my first vector picture.

That's actually pretty damn good, although she does appear to have a lazy eye. (Unless you were going for that, but I personally haven't seen Miku with a lazy eye before.)

How does one vocaliod, anyway?

Anyone draw anime?

Well this is my first anime character I drawn that I actually turned out good, its my first time trying to use vector drawing only started today , I followed a tutorial on you tube but used adobe ideas instead of pens etc all done on a ipad about 30 mins work.. Not bad.

I'm going to guess Haruko?

The problem is, you have to guess ):

of course it's Haruko! Which to be honest kinda surprised me as our friend Vasili here didn't like FLCL.

Should I add the Vespa ?

Yeah I did bash FLCL, but thought I make roger happy think he took it to heart lol, art work of fooly Cooly is good , I just don't get the story.

The Story of FLCL is something you make out yourself. What is Fooly Cooly?

To my, FLCL is about some kids maturity, that he shouldn't be behind someone's shadow his entire life.

That's not ironic- that's a good thing. You got yourself a part-time, start developing your life more.
Yeah no... And my part-time job is all I have right now (Which has helped me get so many hours. This pay period I've got 70 hours...). Not in school period, have no idea what to do, I know I'll never get a girlfriend (I've given up), it's a depressing situation. Probably won't be developing my life more anytime soon.

You can't give up something that hasn't yet bloomed.

I've got bad academics, no girlfriend (and I'm older than you too), and even I still haven't given up. Don't give into your own fears.

Said like a true Otaku

Anyway i just watched the first ep of Mekakucity Actors and like most shows it left me a tad confused which i guess is how they make you come back and keep watching more :D
Looked ok though sofar and the visuals reminds me abit of Monogatari style with all the weird nosensical dream like architecture.

It's made by the same guys at Shaft so I'd actually be surprised if it didn't have the same style.
And each major-ish character is explained in a different episode but they all happen around a certain timeframe until all the characters are introduced. So you'll get it eventually 👍
I stopped watching all my ongoing anime to finish other ones :P

I always thought you were smarter than me.
