@nk4e Have I told you how much I appreciate you posting random stuff in here?
What did I post now?
I just came back from watching DBZ Battle of Gods, and it is awesome. If any of you had the chance to watch it in the theatres, you (and I) know it was worth it.

Very appropriate character to use if it's a Drift car. ;)

Now if it was a racing car, would you use Rainbow Dash? And if so, would you want it on a Mustang?:)
The owner was a GTP member also. Rainbow Dash would probably go on Dodge Dart, Apple Jack would probably be a Mustang, Fluttershy would be a Fusion, Twilight will probably be a Focus, and Pinkie pie is probably a Fiesta.

Yeah. On the few occasions I've seen it I've honestly found it bland, predictable, and poorly written. Plus Buffy the Vampire Slayer took basically the same concept and did it a googolplex times better.

Terror in Resonance 5:

If they plan this well, Lisa will have some meaningful purposeful by like ep 7, 8 or 9. I'm hoping for the best.

I do like that an obstacle came into 9 and 12's life. Means now they can't be sandbagging with the bomb threats like they did this episode. It also seems like 5's someone who picked on the other kids in the asylum... or 5's just out to get revenge on those two for leaving her behind during the fence climbing.

About Lisa:

Her involvement is the one thing nobody apart from Nine and Twelve knows about. A factor which could then be used to their advantage since an old face has returned to cause hell.

If they end up hitting a bigger stumbling block later on because of Five's supposed NEST duties giving her higher reign over the local police department in this case, and more room to follow ulterior motives that could directly threaten more than just Nine and Twelve's lives, Lisa should really be the one to count on. Or so I hope.

About the reply:

I don't know if Lisa should be someone who saves the day in the end or if Lisa becomes a character who is both a hindrance and guide to 9 and 12's "better living". By better living, I mean she might be the key to improving their lives from staying low and out of sight and living less conflicted lives. Evidence of this was after 12 reflected on the eating experience comparing the burnt food to what they had back at the lab.

I read through a majority of MAL's episode discussion comments, and I'm fascinated at the idea that the institution the three were at back then was the Peace Academy that 9 and 12 are currently trying to expose for their corrupt behaviour. Why random bombs? They wanted to bring out someone who would pick up on their ulterior motives (via specific locations, the people who ran the place and how those people are related to one another), eventually become exposed to Peace Academy and have them reveal their underlying intents instead.

In response to that, Peace Academy brings out Five to take out whoever is trying to expose them. Clearly they have power because they stopped the police from disarming a bomb, and clearly they did not care about the lives on that train.

If that speculation is true, Shibazaki probably has no history with Nine at this point. He was a character stalled long enough to get tangled in the numbered siblings' feud.

Cerebrus... not even kidding. Actual character... a mythical multi-headed beast turned into a chick holding to puppy sock puppets. Hate the character, dig the photo.

Wait, so that institution the 3 MC's were in as kids was the Peace Academy? I guess that would make sense, considering they escaped the place & the practices suggested there were pretty bonkers. It also would explain why 9 and 12 are targeting them now.

It's speculation. It does make some sense, but still speculation.

Also, I'm almost done with the first season of Gintama. Some of the humour in this show is brilliant.

Oh. I quite like it. Sounds very plausible.

I thought about watching Gintama. Is humor the only thing it excels in?

I'd watch it for the humour alone. Nothing else.

Alien attacks town. Police show up. One gets on the speakerphone: "Alien, the police have arrived. Just give up. You are completely surrounded." And either follows up with "your parents are worried sick about you" or "your mother didn't raise you to be like this."

The Sailor Moon cosplay pic last page...

Why the Merican cars? Fluttershy should be a Miata. :p

How much do the people in this thread actually care about cars or video games? There are a fair few that I never see outside of this thread.

I like cars. I collect diecasts (see signature below). I don't care about consumer cars, specs, or race events to be active in the car sub-forum.

I also like video games. The video games I play are not of great interest here in GTP.

My activity in the Automotive forum answers the first part.

As for games, my interest has waned a lot over the past year. I've hardly touched either console since dropping WRC 4, and while I've toyed with the idea of going 'current' gen or investing in a desktop that can handle some of the more demanding Steam games I've bought in the sales since Christmas, my money has been better spent elsewhere since starting my new job in January.

Provided that something comes along nearer the end of the year does a stellar job of convincing me to throw money at it (or the platform it's available on), I'll just stick with The Walking Dead game.

@nk4e I finally finished listening to the entire cover playlist at the Pillows' YouTube channel. Now I'm trying to come up with a suitable list to download some songs. This contest was pretty awesome. I'll eventually post my faves here.

Dirt3 EOTW was fun while it lasted.

Video games are cool, though I haven't touched my EcksBawks in months. My PC still gets some steady play, though. Cars though? Meh. Just meh.

Cars? One of the reasons why I liked going to Vietnam was because I could watch British F3 and the Austrian Grand Prix there :p
And I'm trying to get better at racing sims right now. I also love Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Too bad that's not exactly a trend here at GTPlanet...

EDIT: I love Pokemon training and battling. Collecting them is fun too. :P
