Nope. Didn't feel anything when they died. Whether or not I expected it doesn't change much, since I didn't know enough about Nine or Twelve to care about their cause, or fate. Hell, Five's death was so rushed and out of nowhere that it made her efforts seem all the more pointless in the end.

What looked to be a promising series ended up being a pretty art presentation tacked onto a pointless storyline. Shame.

As for "VON", anyone who's gone through the series' OST and noticed the Icelandic themes should have figured out its meaning long before the finale.

Yeah I know, should've expected such a response. I've been looking for the time to marathon all the episodes and all the movies. I believe this weekend could be good for that. :)

Seriously, it's really good. If you like Shaft already, you'll like Madoka Magica even more than most people. That was my experience, at least.

Oh I know. Thinking about it, after a few years of being reminded to watch it, I still haven't. :lol: But I just must watch it all consecutively and that's hard to find time for.

I've only seen Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, and a few episodes of Gurren Lagann. Other than that, I haven't seen much, but at least I know whats what.

I created my own list of five things I never want to see with this topic:
  • Naruto (lol)
  • SAO and anything related besides MAYBE Log Horizon
  • Attack On Titan (I don't get it, that applies to everything about it)
  • One Piece (wayyyyyyyy too long)
  • K-On (I've never seen something so pointless and yet so successful. Same goes for Lucky Star)

I agree with you on Naruto (not my favourite). The others I've (a) have seen and didn't mind or (b) have not seen them. However there is one thing I want to troll you with...

So I got the Shinobu sticker in the mail. So here it is along with the other limited run slaps I purchased. The Never Content, the one under Shinobu and Super Kawaii I have 3-4 of EACH.

The other slap under the Shinobu one is actually a kinda NSFW sticker. But it's just Bulma in the bathtub.

For those of you wondering, these slaps are actually from individuals/import enthusiast groups. Kinda pricey, they range from $5 to $10 EACH. So yeah, do the math of how much I spent on these. I actually have another bunch coming in the mail.

After watching a few episodes of P4G ( persona 4 Golden), its a laid back version of P4 for now..
The more I watched into the series, everything wasn't in the right place. For example, the first few episodes has a brand new opening/ending for the season. But after the sixth or seventh episode, it switches back to the old opening and they delete a character from the series, leaving a plot hole/ cliffhanger. Though the second season can be compared to Haruhi's second season while they expand a few things but still mix everything up. The music is still awesome.

@Not_A_Guest you should really watch K-ON! It would transform you from the angry person that you are into a peace loving person like I am. In fact, they should broadcast K-ON! to violent parts of the Middle East and before you know it, world peace.
 
"slap" is a term for individual stickers, based on Sticker Art. In car culture, people like to throw down stickers onto their body panels. Some specifically target certain panels and they bomb it with a ton of stickers. That's where the term stickerbomb comes from. If I told you to stickerbomb the hell out of my car, you probably go ahead and "slap" them on. Get it? ;)

I would've thought the helicopters coming in were copters following Shibazaki. I figured they were the Japanese forces coming in to apprehend the two for knocking out power. The impact of them trying to get their message across seemed to lack ground, because with a snap of a finger, Japan got back their electricity.

The whole Five thing didn't seem to have great significance other than being a plot device to make it known the US government wanted to get their hands on that bomb the two stole.... but then again, everything 9 and 12 wanted to do did not involve any nation other than Japan alone, so involving the US in that sense comes off to me as irrelevant. Then again, I thought it was nice they introduced another character from the academy just to lift the mystery of the place, but in doing so, the writers would've needed more time (imo) to bring her in and let her go in a timely fashion. Her existence had nothing to do with 9 and 12's goals so she couldn't have taken the role as the main obstacle, yet the restriction on episode count was limiting.

Stuff was good though. Some parts I felt could've used some revision. It was speculated that 5 came into the picture to shut 9 and 12 up before they reveal the truth about the academy. That would've led to a satisfying end... sadly that was not the case.

I wasn't trying to be pretentious in any way.
And besides, what's wrong with voicing our opinion? Especially when it doesn't hurt anybody involved.
