NGE's Fly Me To The Moon is performed by Claire, which imho is so much better than Frank Sinatra's. I'm not a big fan of Frank Sinatra actually.

Good tunes outside of Japan, but who's to say them Japanese folks will dig it?

As mentioned, Ergo Proxy uses both western songs for the OP and ED, NGE uses Fly Me To The Moon, Jojo uses Walk like an Egyptian and Roundabout, and then there's Afro Samurai's stuff.

My initial impression is that it outdoes Kana Hanazawa's performance on Sengoku Nadeko's rant in Monogatari Second Season.

Watching this show I really didn't expect to see something like this. Truly amazing. Hats off to them.

Today I've finally finished watching Kill la Kill. I've watched all 24 episodes except the OVA. It. Was. AMAZING.

Same here. I really don't have time to do that. Thanksgiving break is a whole week long and I'm planning to learn how to roller blade.
