She's quite the character...

I watched the first episode.
The premise is as stupid as it gets, but the girls are cute.
Somebody needs to buy them bigger skirts, though... It's an eyesore.

Hey, a wife that shares the same passion for your hobbies? You got lucky there, most wifes would probably not give two :censored:s about hobbies.
And well, if it isn't your main favorite (which one is, by the way? FLCL? Cowboy Bebop?), it's still pretty high up the list, I reckon. Otherwise, would it be so influential for your life?
Sako has a full length skirt. Applying the "delinquent" trope I guess.I watched the first episode.

Good to know.Sako has a full length skirt. Applying the "delinquent" trope I guess.
Well, we got along so well because we started with loads of things in common. We don't have the same hobbies per sé, but we both support each other's. You see my cars and stuff? Well we just put together a 1,500 PC for her to play, so it kinda levels up. The Rayearth collection is the collective money pit, though.
As for my favorite show... FLCL would be. Influential =/= favorite. Take into account that I watched Rayearth when I was 15 or so. It was very influential back in the day. If I watched it for the first time tomorrow I'd go "eh that's nice" and that's it. Back then it really touched me, and well, it kinda led to meeting my wife, so there's that too. All in all it came to me in kinda the perfect time.
Cano's story about meeting his wife is pretty awesome. They should make an anime out of it.
It might also be the first ever anime to have a decent Spanish dub.

But yeah, I bet a slice-of-life show, featuring a Yoko Kanno soundtrack and Clanad-style animation and design about Cano's life would be quite the popular show in Mexico. Heck, I'd watch it.
I wouldn't, eew. But I'd probably download the soundtrack if it was by Yoko Kanno. But since the premise is to do a horrible moeblob a la Clannad, it can't have awesome music, so that can't be possible. An all-out generic J-pop score is the bet.
I can only shudder imagining an animated version of you in a horribly designed, excessively childish mess...

Just add glasses, a goatee and a flamed t-shirt and you're good to go.
Would you also be rocking a school outfit once in a while? It needs to happen, since we are talking about a cheesy slice-of-life show...![]()
For the sake of lameness, yes.
Yes, all that stuff. Naoko Takeuchi-level fortune, here we go.
Who would you hire as voice actors?
Get the guy that voices Issei from Highschool DxD.![]()
An all-out generic J-pop score is the bet.
Has anyone considered taking their scanned sketches through to GIMP or Illustrator for some vectorizing?
While we're at it, we should make an anime about my mundane life at home without school.Cano's story about meeting his wife is pretty awesome. They should make an anime out of it.
10/10Dude. With Clanad-style drama and graphics, incredibly lame and all-out moeblob. I'd be a millionaire now.
Got no big drawing for this week since my goal for the week is to clear out the pictures folder (which I finished not too long ago), and sort all them anime soundtracks into the genre playlists. I've been behind on this for years.
Got the pictures (includes cosplay and pixiv fanart) down to 2.95 gb.
Just finished sorting through Howl's Moving Castle.
And since I finished the first season of Ace of Diamond, I won't have any more shows to watch on my commute temporarily. Doodling on the go was a lot less enjoyable than I imagined, so I'll hammer through soundtracks on the go. This should be a perfect opportunity to make full productive use of doing nothing on the commute, because now I should in theory be able to focus on the music and note which ones to keep and delete.
You bet this non-TV show post was on-topic.
Watching Attack on Titan (sue me) for the second time, now in English.. and it is just such a wonderfully twisted and demented show. Seeing so many things hidden in the dialogue that you'd miss on a first viewing. Amazing work.
