Gonna need a date for this Can Day.

Just completed a rewatch on Wolf Children. The obstacles both Yuki and Ame had were resolved through ways unconventional to contemporary TV series. It was nice to observe how children grow up and how siblings hold different views on the world.

I really liked it. Not ready to say I loved it as there has not been an irrational thought that compels me enough, but for the most part, it was really good and does show how tough life can be for a single parent and children having to find ways to live with their differences to their peers.

>intellectually and emotionally challenging anime
isn't this basically an oxymoron for anyone over the age of 12?

Then again I stick to the brain dead stuff because I just want to let go each weekend after 5 days of school 'n' gruel.

@Downhill Dino Hanamonogatari is looking pretty nice right now. I'd keep watching but I'm reading a lot more manga than watching anime and the only anime I want to see right now is Onepunch Man.

Might as well. Brought myself to it because it's only 5 episodes, so I did it in one sitting. It's better that way.

I suggest we do a group thread activity:

Starting November 1st, in 12 days we must watch an episode of Sakura Trick per day and share our opinions per episode and never speak of the show again.... Share the suffering if you will.

No don't do that..... No....Seriously.... Unless if you're into that stuff...

I think it'd be cool to do something along the lines of that, but for something else. Maybe one episode p/week.

What if anime did not exist?

Hey like how this thread used to be when everyone was watching the same stuff. Last time I recall it was Kill la Kill.

What if anime did not exist?

A good hobby lost.

NGE... whew. What an incredibly satisfying ending.

Detailed write up tomorrow if I have time.

Which one? EoTV or EoE?

Evangelion makes a lot more sense when you read it as a satire on religion and conspiracy theories. Not to say it is, it's possible Anno was just high out of his mind.

Uuuuh, the 26 episode one. Original.

The old crew here used to have one person stream a show and we all had a blast in the chat.

It'd be kinda nice to see that up and running again.

Glasses are alright. Ponytail hair is where it's at tho

Question for everyone. Which of the below is the favored hairstyle?

#4 or #9 for me.

4 and 5

Maybe 9 because of the ribbon

I would hop in on that.

No.4 because ponytails are life.

@SVX but for what show though? Dubbed version of Ikkitousen? (Don't watch that....)

Another thing, Wangan Midnight, compared to Initial D, are they about the same?

Considering the different terrains the races are on, no plot to really speak of, and the cars are pretty much awesome, I say yes.
