Finished Angelic Layer. By the end I could only give it a 6/10, meh.

Started rewatching Gurren Lagan. Perhaps the best cut scenes in the middle of an anime (around the commercial break.) Great music. +Yoko.

Also just decided to try Xam'd, am only about 15 seconds into and and had to stop by here for a post. Anybody else watched it? Of course I don't really know where this is going, but the beginning segment makes me think of only one thing: smuggling drugs! Some old lady scooping something out of a bowl with what looks exactly like, can it be? No way! But it looks just like a condom! And a yellow ball of goop is protected neatly inside after twisting and doubling over, and then some girl comes over and swallows it. Seriously, what else am I supposed to think!?! Obviously smuggling drugs!:lol:

I've gotten addicted with Clannad now, I watched Episode 11 (Where I left off), then I couldn't stop watching, something was attracting me, so I finished Season 1 in about 5+ hours. Next up is After Story, which is ranked high, so I will get started on that.

Hahaha. I may move that one up as my next anime to watch after I finish with all of Index.

I've seen a few episodes of Angelic Layer but they were in the middle of the series. I'll get around to the show eventually.

TTGL was awesome!

Never heard of Xam'd but it sounds like it starts off interestingly lol.
 
Have watched a couple episodes of Xam'd now. Nice feel and style. Steampunkish. I'd be willing to eat my shoe if it isn't made by the same team that put out Eureka 7. Hope it has a better story. That one was good, don't get me wrong, but it kind of lost me half way through despite great animation.

Hah, just checked. Looks like I'm not eating a shoe. At least not a whole one. Both are BONES projects, though staff on each is totally different.
 
Watched Paprika, I think. Or maybe I dropped acid. I'm not really sure. :lol:

Also started watching C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control. Pretty cool.
 
Finished IS: Infinite Stratos on Friday and have started on Dog Days last night while continuing on Kekkaishi.

managed to exceed bandwidth limit somehow... anyway. at school now.

After I finish milling out the foam block, i'm going to catch up on my 2 hours of anime.

Started Index II.... definitely going to miss the 4 in Railgun.

edit: on 4th episode of Angel Beats.. I must say I reallly like this show.... My Soul, your Beats by Lia is fantastic...actually most of the songs I've heard her sing are fantastic in general. Aside from Lia, GirlDemo's performance is always done with such lovely animation... smoother motion is definitely nice to look at.

edit2: WOW that was one huge dose... Initial D, Angel Beats, Index 2, Gosick, Lucky Star AND Magica....talk about overcompensation.

The ending was awesome for Angel Beats, but I wanted more once it was over :(
 
Just finished Clannad After Story, it was sad, especially when. . .

Ushio and Nagisa die.

So, any recommendations on what to watch now?
 
Angel Beats, Kanon 2006, Air, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Majutsu no Index....

Up to episode 14/26 of Xam'd. Crap! Hard to believe there are shows this good I still haven't seen!!! It's been over a year since I've seen anything I would give a 10/10, but Xam'd is going strong and looking like a serious contender!

Great animation, great characters and development, great story so far, love the setting and style... somebody else watch this please and confirm that I'm not just lowering my expectations, but that Xam'd is really a great anime!

But no, I'd have to admit that Xam'd is 7:3 manliness/touchy-feely.

Ooops, forgot to say, it does have Kamina-ainiki in it! As well as Bunta!

Up to Episode 10 on Madoka, and finished Freezing. Hoping for a second season for BOTH. :sly: As for the ending of Freezing... UGH!!!! :grumpy: --- Randy

Haha I'll move it up a little higher on my list of shows to watch next.
 
Season 2 for both Madoka AND Freezing are going to happen... Not enough content from the manga were covered in the shows...

i totally hated Freezing's ending...typical fanservice *facepalm*
