How much they set you back? Anime figures are usually so expensive and well over what I can afford, sadly. I was looking at some black rock shooter figures a few months ago and all the ones that looked cool were well over £100 :(
 
Hell, back in the 80's I had Transformers that cost over $100... had, because my dad confiscated them when I went to college (since he had in fact bought them for me, so it's fair.) Let's see, I remember Dinobots and Insecticons, one that played cassette tapes, Trypticon, a walking battery powered T-rex which turns into a city:

and many more... looking back, most of them were from the first 3 years of transformers, 84-86, which would have put me at 9-11 years of age.

The 00/0-Raiser being Perfect Grade set me back about 270-something, the Exia and Stamen set me back about 120-130, combined.

I don't even want to think about how much I've spent on all the models, paints, knives, etc. :sick:
 
I still need to get the PG Strike Freedom.

Katoki cleaned it up and I must have it. :D

WORTH EVERY PENNY... I know of crappily-crafted figures that are at least 20% more expensive... The BRS franchise isn't popular thus, we get super badass quality figures at a low price... 👍

No! Never! I really do want something to look at though.


HOWEVER I know I won't take care of it... I'm a lousy cleaner in my own home so they'd be covered in dust in no time.

After I finish another boring episode of Gunslinger Girl, I'm going to ball my eyes out to Grave/Fireflies... and cry myself to sleep.

Haha yeah I have one Gundam action figure and it's always falling apart.
 
Doubtful, Sephy... Very Doubtful.....

If anything, I'm breaking myself out of it.

PVC figures in general do look ugly, but the pics I posted while I was having a discourse on Figurine Standards are stuff I've never seen before, thus reconsidering that broad statement..... I'd totally get BRS figures and that one gorgeous Miku figure.
 
Ahh come on. Those top quality figures are calling out to youuuuu.
 
Do NOT resist the temptation. One day you will awaken to hundreds of figurines surrounding your sleeping quarters giving you the dreaded "stink face".
 
Finished Grave of the Fireflies... didn't leave me as sad as I remembered, but it was certainly tragic.

BUY me a figure then, you two.. chip in $50 each and get me a BRS figure. :sly:

I wouldn't exactly call the ones who pilot the EVAs women though lol. However I'm sure an EVA could 🤬 up a Gundam. But only if it wanted to.
