Thanks for the links, I think I may have found a perfect shop. It's based in Toronto, and they hold stuff directly shipped from Good Smile. This means if I ever buy anything not only do I not have to pay a large shipping fee and wait forever, I don't have to deal with Customs!

Good Smile is fantastic, in particular with the BRS franchise :sly:

Also buying each other something that's the same price would be fun but I would never risk the postal system hahaha. Anyway I hope you actually find what you like and start getting PVC figures. They aren't bad, they are a way of life!

Glad you found a local place. I once had trouble with a dude from China (even though normally stuff from China isn't a problem). Long story short I'm still trying to get my money back and it was for a rare figure but I finally found a place in Cali that holds a lot of things like what I wanted and bought it from them. Only took 3 days to get here.

Gurren Lagann is the biggest mech. Dispute this, and also the claim that it cannot be beaten by anything on the board. I am not picking a fight, I would like to learn more about these shows I have not watched.

If you read the last few pages you'll learn a lot about Gundams and EVAs as we were debating that lol. Gurren Lagann would probably fall to either though. :)

I like never shop on eBay because the stuff I normally buy are usually scams or they are overpriced or shipping costs a fortune....In other words, I know of no reliable/favourable sources on eBay.

The show gets better. It starts off like a normal show and then changes. A lot. IMO.

I was doing it to be helpful lol I didn't know it would cause even more temptation. You should have finished NGE by now anyway and could have peered inside my top secret post :p


Also that site like most is sold out. Of everything. It's the very reason I resort to eBay now. Have you contacted them? Can they order it for you?



On a side note does anyone else notice that sites that sell figures always have designs that make them look like they're from 10 years ago? What's up with that?
 
2D doesn't translate well to 3D...Especially with stylized 2D things, like anime... EXCEPT for Mechas.

When I said design I was talking about the website design, not figures. Every figure I've bought recently looks fantastic to me. Especially my Asukas.
