Viento... I used that for when I had the Fuu avatar (Magic knight of wind), I just forgot to change it when I made the Camaro one. haha, but be sure, Fuu will be back in my avatar in a short time. I love that girl :drool:

as for anime-stuff conventions, over here in mexico there are some of those, but are extremely poor and the piracy abounds. not that Im complaining, everything is extremely cheap, so its nice, but as we dont buy anime anymore (we as me and my girl, wich is, also, an anime fan... that is great :D ), we just look for rare stuff, like the Fuu plush that she gave me ^-----------^ just two weeks ago :D

Evas are indeed awesome. I would have to say that evangelion is a hallmark of anime.

The speed and agility of the evas is amazing. Better yet, with E you get a different sort of combat. G is almost equal space/earth. (with a slight space bias) However, in E you have this kind of earth based combat. The mechs are much more fluid in movement and closely resemble a man in the motions of fighting. Take that sort of combat into comparison w/ G and it makes for two very different styles of mech anime.

Gundams seem to be more "real world" than evas. Gundams have cockpits that are often much like a common fighter jet. Then you have the gundams space performance needs to use a booster system as the base of all movement. This all creates a natural theme in the gundam world that is more r/w than eva's theme.

I really like both shows. Great series in their own rights, but oh, of course, gundam has about a bazillion different stories by just as many different creators. So, um, yeah, I would say my comments should be taken into context. (disregard your comparisons to gundam shows like G Gundam.) Also, E has a much better human side of the story... shows can't be big mechs fighting for 30 minutes with no story ;) Well...:lol:

Anyway... :D Eva and Gundam :D

Im glad you posted so soon actually. I didn't even get to mention how much I feel in love with one gundam game I got... it was the only one, but still a great mech fix.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs Zeon was by all means a good game. I would almost compare it to something like "sarges heros", only with a cooler story and bad ass mechs. In Fed vs Zeon you have all of the original story gundams. (Im slow on the gundams right now) It is all of the U.C. gundams up to 0083, but not including 0083 :( no full vernian.:(

With an arcade mode for fun and a campaign mode to play hundreds of missions, a full line up of awesome gundams and a simple (but at time lacking) control scheme, I give Fed vs Zeon a 4/5 or 8/10. (maybe 8.5 for all the major gundam fans, and not just gamers)

Nah, I disagree, while gundam isn't as cool as some other mech anime, it certainly does not flat out suck.

I would say it's more a watered down mech series. ;) jk on all you major Wing fans.
 
i've already said this, i was a huge gundam fan, but it was too westernized and fed to 6 year old children, i've gotten into cars now, a sign of growing up perhaps? :P
 
no no, theres a game just like it after fed vs zeon, vasicly same game vut all different MS's/story.theres veen a slew of games over here that vased on that game engine.

and it goes throught the first gundam to 0083 stardust andi forgot the other one
the bonus suits u get is the main ones from seed
the tallgese and wing zero custom -gundam wing

/me blows the dust off his old custom gundam folder

here's a pic of a custom gundam i was working on, sometime after this image i ditched the idea of having the wings and went for a more complicated engine design, where in it is more powerful and actually has two more side panels on each engine.

this is called the v2 custom, it is a modification of the v2 gundam (which is imo the best designed gundam to date) from the v gundam series.

some specs: 2 engines as seen on the back, 1 beam sword, 1 beam glaive, 1 tallgeese 3 mega cannon, and 20 scatter missles located under the front panels of the shield. some other things i considered was the phase shift as in gundam seed, but i didnt think it would work too well. I believe when i lost all faith in gundam i was thinking of ways an Os would function. Oh and i believe there was an idea for setting a scatter missle jammer on the shield (that big red thing) anyway, that should prove to you i was a very freakish fan of gundam :p

i had a serpent custom with some of wing zeros wings and the weapons were used by zeon
 
great job lone, no shuttles? :lol: its my life dream to direct/animate a gundam project, cant wait for the responsibility of carrying the gundam torch.

loose faith? *slap* you must have been REALLY into it. yeah, sometimes i think its a bit too much to draw all the time, and begin o look elsewhere for fun. however, the comeback always brings better ideas than the last time.

i cant believe ow much gundam merchandise i've actumulated over a year, 3 models, 10 of the action figs, several posters, 3-4 books, 3-4 large grahpic novels, about 5 manga, a hd full of crap, ohh and 2/3 original gundam books (still looking for the third, worth 114 usd on amazon used) 6 vhs tapes, the game (GBA2) i think there are some other things i'm missing but i cannot rem. i should sell it all on ebay, make some big $ from the fans :D
