Got to episode 23 (Not the fastest anime watcher!)

Ray (who's hot, BTW), and Charles 'adopt' Renton. Charles has an awesome personality, but I'm pretty sure Renton is gonna go haywire again once he finds out Charles' mission regarding the Gekkostate. Oh, that part with the sick girl was pretty intense/sad.

Pretty dramatic compared to the first portions of the anime, where it was more light-hearted-ish.

I should've been more specific :ouch:; the sick Vodarac girl in the wheelchair.

The hate towards the Vodarac shown through episode 23, with Renton trying to find a life support system for her, and final realization that Renton explicitly said he had no belief in the afterlife was fairly dramatic. The Eureka recovery scenes were a bit cute though (asking about love and all.)

I'm growing to like Holland, too.

Yeeah, sorry. I forgot about that scene. It made me sad face.

Holland is an immature dick. But he has some good points.... I guess.

I only started to like him once...

...he realizes that Renton left due to him (and his crews' teasing, partly, although Renton's adolescent nature plays a part too) (and Holland's hitting :sick:).

Only then did I finally have a bit of respect for him (so far!). Otherwise, he is what you said he is. I do hope he changes.

Oh, and Holland is more of a dick in the movie, but since it's a different story; he does have more of a reason to be one.

Angel Beats sounds good! I'll post when the stream goes live. More CLANNAD can probably be worked out also. Depends on how inebriated I am at the time 👍

I understand. I am only saying that Renton doesn't take it that way initially.

...and I know that Holland felt that Renton is a danger to Eureka, and if the tough love wasn't directed at Renton, he probably was trying to defend Eureka. (Or he realizes that he's not the one to protect her anymore.)

Sorry about that, I should've remembered what you said. ...but I should watch more of Eureka Seven soon so my understanding should increase :p.
