nge is comin out with remakes

lonewolfe owes me ten bucks and i think thats it
nvm some new drifters r comin to this thread

eeeh... I would have liked to hear some good news (like there are no more drifters in the forum and that the ten bucks are coming my way)... so nothing really new?

Cano

Drifting was cool until it got a name and a cliched following of import tuner wanna-bes.

Of course, do not get insulted by this, I mean no direct insults to anyone on the gtp.

I merely want to point out how annoying it gets when all the drifters talk about drifting outside of the drifting forum.

Personally, I would really just like to see this thread back on the subject of anime.

Whether it's good anime or bad, funny or sad, slow or fast, I just want some anime talk.

Right now there isn't much that's new on my anime pallet, although, if you guys wanna weigh in... I noticed a cheap buy for the full metal panic series... What do you all think, regardless of price, was there anything in the series that was worth a purchase. (in your opinion, regardless of anime quality standards)

I've seen some, but not all of full metal panic, so don't hold back on what you think... give it to me. :D

Later.

ok, well i finished haibane renmei today, good series, kinda sad in the end, but kinda not, has no real definative ending, and you know why? cause it was done by the same guy who did lain :P

aaahhhh! /o/
so you like little furry things, heres a file i suggest you go find if you do not already have it:
"the chibi things (that kill)" byy indifferent productions
you wont be disappointed :P

Hey, I know it's not really anime, but did anyone catch the "Justice League" tonight?

It was awesome, they went out of their way (the creators of this show), to express (in this episode) how nasty superman could be with full, un-restrained use of his powers...
It was awesome. Superman had a re-created battle with doomsday, and right before doomsday put down the final blows, super put down a laser vision lobotimy. :D

Man it was awesome, all the criminals were lobotimized by a merciless superman.

Of course, flash and batman had their charactors developed in this episode, but the superman stuff really got me hyped.

Btw, this show "justice league" is awesome. Extremely well written and developed, there is almost no equal in the same class of show.

I hate this crap with one sentence post... it's like no one can ever have a discussion because of the fact that once you put in a post, within seconds there are 4 or 5 post that have no content or message.

Don't get me wrong, you guys just go on as you wish, but for me, I don't know, some times I like to actually discuss my interest.

If any of you are down with that, just hit me with an actual post and not this crap.
Sorry again fellas. ;)
btw, those are some great pics throughout the various anime threads. Keep it up fellas. :D

lol, i hate sending lots of msgs at once, mostly cause GTP is 1/2 sites that are always very very slow for me, ire it takes about 5-10 minutes for me to see what i typed on the screen, it is just very annoying, anyway, i'm going to dread having 50 new posts to read in the morn, but i gtg, nk4e send a link to you in deviant art and i'll check into it tomm.

hey cano, whats your impression of the hardlock saga...stuff. i get the impression its a good watch. but does that include "space battleship yamamoto" or "comso warrior zero"? im a bit in confusion here how there all the series relate to eachother.

nothing, cano just has a deep seeded grudge for anything that mixes cars and japan

ok, lets get trough this:
I very much like imports. I have nothing against them, even less the ones coming from japan, wich I reckon may be the best cars in the world right now, maybe equaling the europeans in many aspects. nor I have anything about drifting, I reckon its a pretty dificult thing to do, to control a car in those conditions.
you know what I hate?
the ****ING hype. the fact that every dude in this forum has the word "monkeyD" "import" ofr "drift" or "AE86" or "driftingimportAE86" in their names, sigs, locations, and avatars. I am completely up to my mother of it. all the "import craze" and of course the ****ing drift stuff. its just like, you know, aghh. everyone is on the ****ing same bandwagon. from 80% of the members of this forum to 85% of the cars in GT3. imports are cool, but are INCREDIBLY overrated right now. drifting isnt cool, but its nothing bad. alas, it is maybe the most overrated thing the automotive world has seen in some time, since, hell, Ferrari. and all you people that like that kinda stuff get on my nerves. I have nothing against you, you know it, and you know Im only joking, but its enough to some extent. and that extent has been passed trough and even stepped over long long ago.

GoKents has the point there too. he knows (:

oooooh, the Leiji Matsumoto stuff is WAAYYYY deep and has an awesome, touching and feeling-provoking storyline and plot, yes it all comes together at one point or another, in some time or another. from Queen Millenia to the latest Galaxy Express movie shod in 2003, it is all a combination of incredible storylines getting together to create a HUGE cosmos that will be an amazing thing once you get ahold of all its elements... not an easy task, indeed, but certainly worth trying because maybe Matsumoto has created, all in all, the most awesome universe the anime world has ever known. indeed, it is incredibly underrated, mainly because its, yeah, old. most of the shows that compromise the complete Matsumoto Universe are at least 15 or 20 years old. Queen Millenia, the show that started it all, celebrated its 30th birthday in 2002. so you can comprehend why its not so well-known. Anime began to spread in the 90s, and the show isnt as famous as Mazinger, robotech or some other early.stuff becase, unlike those shows, they weren't packed with struggling action, wich was what kids then -now us- looked for in a show. they were a deep view of humanity and what is it to being human. beliebe when I tell you, those shows are amazing and if you have any oportunity to watch ANY of it, dang, DO SO!!!!!
they are immensely cool. and when they get to work together and create that HUGE universe... its just undescribeable.
