I just finished Angel Beats! and uh...it was awesome at the beginning, then it got a tiny bit sad, then there's the last episode. I got a bit girlie during

and then I totally lost it at the end when Kanade explained why she was there. I feel so unmanly, so very, very unmanly.

Going to watch a few movies before I pick out another series to watch. I've got GitS:Solid State Society, Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works, Appleseed: Ex Machina, and Blood: The Last Vampire to watch.

Meanwhile, I finished Excel Saga today. All I'm gonna say is it is totally random funny, so anyone who didn't see this should enjoy this if they are into that kind of stuff. Lots of side characters/sidestories, and the main plot doesn't build up until late in the series. Very enjoyable if you like random/parody comedy (I liked it)!

Will start Gurren Lagann soon. Should I watch a subbed or is the dubbed version worthy?

I have to say, seeing the first episode of Trigun.... Its certainly isn't what I expected.

Also, I actually like the art style, even though its pretty dated. Kinda makes it more normal in a strange way. Although some stuff in that anime is missing the normal clutter that most anime have nowadays. But that's excusable considering when Trigun was created (i think).

With regards to the Trigun dubbing in English, I had to turn it off and revert to Japanese dubs, as the subtitles I was using wasn't exact to all the English words that the vocal artist was using.

It jars me a bit too much, considering that anything unexpected from the written words makes me think a bit too much which what was said to then carry on reading the subs and watching the action at the same time! At least, with the Japanese dubs, I can get more of an idea what the characters are feeling and not need to worry about extra words that the subs may or may not have added.

I gave up the Dubs when I wanted to get into the story. But I know what you mean.

Establishing a story and stuff, then taking it to P.A Works for the Animation. Skip to the 2nd video for music production if you're uninterested.


Taking it to Maruni Studios for the Vocal production of the Songs by GirlDeMo, marina and LiSA. Too bad we don't get to see Lia sing.

Didn't know Jun Maeda wrote Angel Beats, I knew he composed a TON of OST for other shows like Air, Kanon, Clannad, and of course Angel Beats.
