Finished the Episodes of NGE now. Onto EoE...

I have to say though, Ep 25 and 26 aren't as mind screw as you would expect them to be. I mean, I know Ep 20 was easily the biggest mind screw for me out of all of them. 25 was just describing the characters journey''s through the story, so it wasn't that bad for me TBH...26 wasn't much harder to see through at the beginning as it was basically the same thing. The ending parts were pretty awesome though. If I were Shinji, I would have accepted the first 'new' world he'd thought of immediately. I mean, Rei's happy there and everything! Also I didn't actually see what Misato's car was there, someone elaborate pleeeeease...Misato as a teacher though doesn't seem quite in context with what I'd have though. The very ending though was just too anti-climactic for me, didn't make enough sense.

And to defy Sly completely, I liked 26. Towards the ending anyway

Anyway, I guess I now move on to EoE, which will be probably very interesting compared to the other ending. It seems such a downer though

But of course, Simon's will is so powerful that somebody like Lord Genome is somehow easily defeated. ...not sure if he's completely gone though...

Anyways, can't wait to see of older Simon. He's like my close-second fave to Kamina.

The series has many references to Jazz and other musical styles. In fact, most of the episode titles are the titles of jazz or blues songs. Hell, the soundtrack alone is a must own for Jazz fans.

Absolutely, altough the soundtrack isn't jazz in it's entirety, it's at least 50% of it. when you consider it is composed of 5 albums for the series, two for the movie, one for the game, a rare-stuff, 5-discs boxset and a live concert/DVD, believe me, it is a LOT of jazz, and all of it is top-notch stuff. The music that isn't jazz is also extremely, blatantly good.

Simply put, it's the best soundtrack ever assembled for an anime.
