How the hell am I going to watch that, AGE, and the 4th episode of UC? :odd:
 
Holy table flip. My internet just went really crappy and I'm tired. No anime tonight, might watch an episode or two at like 4-5am. so da Wowi nya~ is going to curl up and sweeep now. Nighty night guys.
 
Yeah, Chaos;Head... it's based off a Visual Novel, and the first half of the show is well paced and I really enjoyed the tense moments it created. What happened in the second half was that they basically had to rush to fit in at least 75% of the VN (story, action, characters & development) into what little time they had left. So it ended a bit... messily, in my opinion.

That happens sometimes, studios get told one thing at the beginning of a show, then its length gets cut in half or extended without warning, and the staff have to somehow deal with it.

Slight spoiler, but the fight has a nicer impact than the fight in Clannad.... I just really like how Taiga managed to get Sumire to break down and open up.

I only (somewhat) knew one, and that was the dude who did the illustrations for VisualArts/KEY that is Air, Kanon and Clannad. Hate his style too.

Would have been nice to get a page on huke's stuff...because his illustrations are boss.

Interesting art book! From a school book sale, too... something like this wouldn't exist in mine. How are the artworks/drawings in your opinion?

A good half of it aren't my forte.... but it's certainly good to have something to look at for inspiration or to pick up illustration styles rather than surfing the web mindlessly. Still though, roughly 80 illustrators being featured in here, isn't that awesome? There are a few illustrations I really like, like the one on the cover that is by Redjuice and he loves to do the cyber/half-robotic/mechanical human thing... and would it surprise you if I told you he gets his inspiration from Supercell (that dude who's all big on the vocaloid business)? It seems like anything that has had some sort of encounter with Supercell makes super cool character designs... maybe I should do the same. Who else wants to go to Japan for a week or two? I'll make jeff and walter pay for out flight tickets...again :rolleyes: [/haruhistic]

Oh hey he has a DeviantART account, AND he was the creator of Beatless! That girl on the cover certainly had similar traits...

I also love how each illustrator has their website and contact info in the book.

I like that Lacia design, but it does feel like it lacks a little something.

Looked at the video of him flipping through the book. I have a lot of those images lol.

I definitely would have purchased it for $20. Good job AOS-!

Just because of pixiv and all of those -booru sites, figurines all the way. ...you let them gather dust!?

I suddenly start liking Redjuice's art style, now that I've seen his deviantArt. I dunno, his mech-inspired drawings are attractive to look at. I need to pay more attention to specific artists more!
 
Hate to admit it but Kei did a brilliant job with Hatsune Miku..

huke's stuff is cool, but so far he's a one-trick pony, who happened to learn a really wicked trick!

I want to see an "Insane Dead Master...."

Well I'm in the lead but you know the slow rate I buy figures. The only way I'd stay in the lead is I know how few figures you actually like lol.

How few? At most, as many fingers a single hand holds. :p I'm glad I don't like a whole lot. Once I'm done buying all the stuff I really like, It's only going to be "build up money until another pretty figure enters the market. If Redjuice can develop Lacia a little further, I might buy into it. The current figure is a lot nicer than most other figurines already, I just want to see a little more out of Lacia... she needs either more charm or more badassery, whatever she's supposed to be.

Also, to whoever made up some story about me making profile pages for anyone, let me get something straight..... Yes I do 'em for people for no charge, but I don't go making them for anyone, and I especially don't make them for people I don't even know. I ask others for permission to decorate their page, not sit waiting for requests. So please don't go telling your friends to ask me to decorate their pages unless I either know them or they frequent this thread.

Go buy an Artbook to beat it off to.... I just got one and it's filled with lolis. Kind of wished it had a cute blue-haired alien-obsessed girl in it.
