Ehhh. It's mostly just hard to pull off cosplay that actually looks convincingly like a 2D character, regardless of beauty. :p

My personal hypothesis is that she undergoes the same mental contamination that she suffered in her battle against the 15th Angel in the original series.

Maybe. I've yet to see a beautiful Asuka cosplayer. :D
 
I've settled on the 458... It's pretty plain so far because I've only got one image to use.
