Just got done watching Wonderful Days. Pretty cool movie, but the setting and characters aren't as fleshed out as I think they ought to be.

@Loliballs, song's got a lot of emotion and power in it... especially when a whole bunch of people sing it together. I think I'm going to try and cry myself to sleep with this, no joke :)

@eNJS, Lia is an amazing singer with an amazing voice and she's performed a LOT for anime opening and ending themes....The ones I like the most are:

Clannad: After Story OP
KEY Sound Label is fantastic... Listen to those instruments...

Angel Beats OP; It's HD, blast your speakers.
dat piano and strings...

Air OP
Not a huge fan of this song, I just like the very beginning of it + the short sequence of flying in the sky, past the clouds... how breath-taking of an experience is that?

Liked the first two particularly number 2, the third one I could do without. Although I agree about the intro - it's quite dreamy. :p

Also with Steins;Gate how come it flickers every once in a while? Made me think my monitor was messing up at first lol.

What flickering? You mean when he fires up his phone?

No every once in a while for a split second the color gets bright and then goes back to normal. At least it did during episode 2. Can't remember if it did during episode 1 but I think it did.

Those custom rockband songs brought a tear to my eye.

I loved playing the drums and guitar. When I get really into it I drum like a BAUCE

I stopped playing RB2 since half the roster wasn't fun to play on drums...and like one quarter of it was and probably still is impossible for me to play because of the triplet kicks and whatnot... the Drum pedal is just awful, even after I had swapped the overly-tight spring with a super loose one.

Better still, get the PC version. Dem graficks.

Can you tell he's a PC l33tist when it comes to games?

no offense btw.

Look at Walter just sitting there. Hi Walter!

I was hoping Ao no Exorcist would be done on the 24th episode but appraently it wasn't and the last one is 25.... but other than that I finished PSG and the last epsiode was wicked.. in terms of Action anyway.

On episode 4 of Bebop.... Hasn't grabbed my attention yet, pretty boring.

I really, really, really hope you're joking or trolling.

Also, was it you who said Steins;Gate took about 10 episodes before it gets good? I recall someone said that... 10 episodes is a lot to sit through.
Comparatively, Bebop has cool music, action sequences, tense moments and comedic touches, while all S;G has for me so far is the mystery of time travel and that guy Hououin's awesome evil scientist laugh.

I guess I can't properly judge them equally, since I've only seen 2 eps of S;G and 4 or 5 of Bebop.

Ayjay... Remember how wicked badass awesome that song God Knows is?

Please do me and yourself a favour and never ever watch Aya Hirano sing in a Live performance....

Too late, I already have

Have you seen any footage of the Hatsune Miku live concert? Pretty cool.

Oh, and one more thing:
Hatcha recommended you guys watch S;G and you loved it...
Hatcha then recommended you guys watch Akagi...

So, who's started watching? ;)

I would but no space for a wheel. It sucks because I want iRacing and RFactor but I can't play them because of the whole wheel issue. And seeing the F1 pics you post just adds salt to the wound lol (yes I lurk the F1 forum).

AOS- I'm really only a PC elitist when it comes to FPSs but T-12 does have a point. PC typically > *.

You have offended me, and as a result I shall be paying your profile page another visit. :p

Joking aside, I'm a bit of a PC snob occasionally...but not the kind who's all up your face calling you stupid for buying a console. I have all three of 'em, the hell kind of hypocrite would that make me?

I didn't say it took 10 episodes to get good. I said in 10 episodes in gets REALLY good, everything else before that is fantastic too. Especially later on.

I'm not hating on Bebop, it just hasn't grabbed me and there isn't anything that makes me want to continue. So far the music is the only thing that's awesome. And when I see people talk about it, that's usually what they're talking about. So all I'm seeing is bias.(It did have a neat fight scene in the first episode though)

tbh when comparing Bebop and S;G. IMO Steins;Gate has a more interesting story. Time travel > space bounty hunters(this is from the first few episodes, my opinion is subject to change)

Oh yeah. Steins;Gate has all of this stuff too AND the mystery of time travel.

Damn ISP died again.

Yeah let us know how that works out.

2D

It's a "one night stand". :p

Make sure you use LCL cologne. It'll help immensely with Mari.

I never asked for this.

Kidding bro. Unfortunately, she wasted the whole bottle for her own self

"...Ugh...don't remind me..."

"... it's an Asuka within an Asuka." DUNNNNNNN

I've started watching Wangan Midnight. As expected, cyber-Asuka is cheering on Blackbird...

Why no turbo hiss? Because race car.

I'm an RGO guy and I liek pink. I drive the RGO R33 everyday because it's baws.

Why pink car? Because race car. And Mari likes it too.

HATSUNE... NOWAIT, FACK.

Oh yeah. Steins;Gate has all of this stuff too AND the mystery of time travel.

Having seen both Steins;Gate and Cowboy Bebop in their entirety, let me add in my 2 cents...

Steins;Gate's music has nothing on Cowboy Bebop's.
Steins;Gate's action sequences have nothing on Cowboy Bebop's.
Steins;Gate's tense moments have nothing on Cowboy Bebop's.
Steins;Gate's comedic moments have nothing on Cowboy Bebop's.

Steins;Gate has the mystery of time travel, sure, but the coherence of it is unfortunately completely thrown out the window when **** starts hitting the fan halfway through.

Unlike Steins;Gate, most of Cowboy Bebop's episodes contain a self-contained story. The "main story", Spike's, is interwoven throughout the show, with a few key episodes that focus on it. So if that's not your cup of tea, then I guess that's the one thing that Steins;Gate might possibly have over Cowboy Bebop. But you can't really accurately judge the show from the first few episodes, which really only serve to get you acquainted with the main characters.
