Finished the first episode of Persona 4, I'm going to enjoy this show. Some points threw me out of the episode, but that ending was awesome.

They kind of threw you into it but I think it's to get you thinking/confused and then they'll explain it all later. You know how shows like to do. I did feel like I was playing the game without having to do anything though lol.
 
Alright, so the idea in my head is what I'd call "Catalyst", or "The Great Demon Parasite, Project Catalyst". It was inspired by a lot of anime I've seen, heard about, or seen, and even some comic book characters. The basic story is about this wanderer named Kenji Uodo who was a test subject in the titular "Project Catalyst", a study that matches potential hosts with a symbiotic parasite that can, at the utter will of it's host, manipulate itself into absolutely anything. Kenji was the only successful one, and by successful I mean he wasn't killed due to extreme mental instability, heart trauma, or any of the other physiological-related deaths/episodes. He was the only noted subject that could mentally withstand and even manipulate the parasite in ways not even they (the ones behind closed doors) imagined. No one knows why, but the parasite seems to be sentient enough, and is using random hosts to track him down.

My mind is purposely blocking out most of it so this won't turn into a wall of interesting text, so I'll end it there. :lol:

It was the occasional bit of unnecessary wacky animation(sweat drop on the back of that guy's head) that tore me out of it, also the lagging... but that was the stream's fault, not the show.

Aren't those pretty expensive to make? They do look awesome though, regardless of S;G.
 
It is, dude.... looking at $300-400 for one with exposed tubes. The Steins;Gate replica is like $700, but that's because it has like 7 tubes.... and a name to brand it with.

I'd get one of these over 5 pretty figurines... my only concern is how long the tubes last, how much it costs to replace and how available are they still. But with that in mind, I'm going nuts to get a neat looking screensaver of a nixie clock.

I find it hard to believe that Feyris would just up and help Okabe by sending a D-Mail to get her dad killed even if it is to save Mayuri. Now that threw me out of the episode lol.
 
Man, I wanna flood this thread with Yoko but it would defeat the purpose of the OADY. :nervous:

Yeah... that part's a little bit hard to swallow. Not many people would do that. And those that would, wouldn't without a lot more persuading. :p

S;G episode 18.

With a show that moves at such a slow pace anyway why did they do this? They could have used half an episode to reverse Ruka's D-Mail. Didn't need a whole dating scenario lol. It was nice to see a lot of Ruka though. <3.

I thought crazier stuff would have started happening by now and more frequently.

Also think I might go and watch Rebuild 1.0 today then Rebuild 2.0 tomorrow. I still wish I could watch them on stream with you guys... :)

So liek, omg... my shiny new Xbox 360, HDMI cable and copy of Dark Souls will be arriving later today. :D

It's a shame I won't get to spend much time with Dark Souls... I'm going out of town this weekend, and Forza 4 comes out on Tuesday, so really I might only get to play it tonight and Monday night before I leave for San Diego and never see my Xbox 360 ever again. :p

Though my wheel, pedals and stand might be 1-2 days late for Forza, so perhaps if I can resist the temptation to start playing it with a controller, I may get a little bit more time with Dark Souls.
