Well it probably was due to J.C. Staff trying too hard to make it outsell Shakugan no Shana which was also based off of a popular light novel series. Shakugan no Shana III however on a side-note is apparently not selling well.

When they know for a fact it won't happen they do. Toei Animation for example knows they'll never be able to make a show that will surpass One Piece any time soon. Toriko may get in the top 10 animation TV rankings, but it's ratings are around the 6.0 (6 million) range. One Piece on the other hand gets around a 10.0 (10 million) rating.

I find it highly unlikely that a show with 3 episodes would sell well already. Hell, none of those episodes were anything special.

Your defense is totally flawed as Guilty Crown and Mirai Nikki are doing absolutely great with just 2 episodes so far...even you're in love.

But going back to Shana, it's not going well so far. The stats constantly change with each new episode, but if we were to just place a judgment only on what's been seen, it's not that great... Aside from what happened in between 2nd and 3rd, nothing big has happened. Rather, the hook has not been presented, and if there was, it didn't succeed.

Always is, but ratings are always based on results and not what's going to happen...it's the business-side of things and to mix up that with personal feelings and support for it gets you into trouble

Regarding BRS, I hate the storyline, but I love the action, that's what sold imo.

Just finished episode 4 of Fate/Zero. Enjoying it so far. I like how it's more serious than Fate/Stay Night. I think that's one of the reasons I really liked Unlimited Blade Works too.

I want to like the Lelouch but every time I see "Clamp hands" I can't help but laugh. They really nailed them on that one.

Hachikuji's from Bakemonogatari... she owned Araragi in a mortal kombat match.

They're all future releases btw, and I would have pinned up the Shinobu, Kurisu and other figures but that'd be reposting...
