Of course we have all heard the studio version, so we'll have a live performance of one of my favourite Pillows songs: Happy Bivouac! From their 15th anniversary show in Asakasa Blitz.
Heck I even remember when this song appears in the show.
Was disappointed at the beginning of the episode. The story wasn't moving and, don't get me wrong, the ecchi stuff was great, I just don't think it belongs in this anime. DAT ENDING however... NOW WE ARE TALKING
I did, and indeed at first I thought Angel Beats was just another dumb (sorry AOS-) anime. I did get very surprised and pleased at how it turned itself into a great drama but better than Steins;Gate? Not really. As you said they were greedy and the anime did end up melodramatic. At least to me it was just too much, specially considering the lighthearted beginning.
Steins;Gate was also weak at the beginning but the drama fit the story perfectly. It wasn't only about the characters or the drama halfway through... it also had an amazing story. The way they tied up the drama, humor, sci-fi, and everything else is just amazing.
But to each his own I guess.

It's still better than S;G IMO. Angel Beats was to me, as you said, a great drama. And S;G, to me, was a pretty average time travel story. The drama and the major plot reveals mostly didn't faze or interest me. Its biggest redeeming factors were its mildly funny humor and its cool art style and character designs.
You must have just made that folder available or something because it wasn't there before. EDIT: Wow going through that album has brought back some memories from this thread lol. And now I know who a lot more of the characters are.

Or I could watch something you didn't like and just hope that I do happen to like it.
That way, not only will it lend credence to the idea that I don't dislike more anime than you, but it will also indicate that you in fact dislike more anime than me.

It's bad that you feel that way about anime.... but I also second what Sephy said.
I think I should go back to 120x120px avatars again... loved how easy it was to achieve a decent composition without much effort... Avatrend 1.0 anyone?
