Question: Am I the only one here seeing the similarities between Guilty Crown and Code Geass very easily, and quite a bit of them? Someone on the [adult swim] boards as I posted before pointed out so many similarities.

So it appears that CC Inori has to live with Lulu Shu as they find out that a certain student at Ashford Academy school knows about what happened in Shinjuku Roppangi with the Black Knights Funeral Parlor while they were trying to get their hands on some Refrain Sugar and must be hushed up about it with Geass the King's Mark. Meanwhile, Suzaku Yahiru, Shu's best friend, sells him out to the government because he doesn't agree with Shu's motives.

I seriously wonder how far they'll go when I see episode 4 on Thursday. If they get more of those Endslave things or whatever, it'll definitely be like Code Geass with tons of Knightmare frames.

Then when you watch Gurren Hen, it takes the ending, cranks it's awesomeness level to HOLY ****, HOW WAS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE THIS MORE AWESOME levels
 
@TC I was taking it seriously until that Sugar part.... really, that just lost all credibility for that comparison.

I just finished Gurren Lagann... my mind has been 🤬 by so much awesome... damn... I also feel like I can punch a hole through the sky.

How? Sugar is the alias for the Norma Gene drug IIRC. Many people have been comparing that to the drug Refrain from Code Geass.
