I was really productive last night. I'd estimate that my Pokemon fangame is about halfway done now. :D

Just kidding

I actually didn't accomplish a whole lot, but things are shaping up. I made an awesome introduction sequence, and I found some old code on my external hard drive belonging to a Pokemon fangame I was making a while back.

I think today I'll find some suitable tilesets and start laying out a good portion of the game world. :)

Well, a lot has changed. Simon is now the boss, they named the city after Kamina (original) :rolleyes: Yoko isn't there any more :( Nia is EVIL :eek: and everyone else is now of a higher authority all of a sudden.

Tell me someone that the battle scene did not look like Eva...Dari and Gimi fighting in mechas against bizarre supernatural beings that absorb attacks and then something impossible comes and saves the day. Tell me that isn't Eva...

Also Simon obviously made a bad decision to try and marry Nia...not just because of what happened there but because he would be annoyed to death by her :lol:

I second this, I would like to play this when released. (Possibilities on a beta?)

I finished BRS (OVA) this morning. I found it very enjoyable: great fighting scenes, an easy to understand story, and

How the two separate parts of the story come together in the end was a nice touch.

Looking forward to the actual anime series 2012.

Silly fansubbers, adding memes that weren't there. I don't recall Crunchyroll translating it that way, though I could be wrong. It has been a while since I saw season 1. Fansubbers add so many things that weren't there, such as adding the F word when the Japanese language doesn't really have all that much swearing.

The sad thing about the last one is since she's animator from the looks of things, she wouldn't have the time for a man. Animators have jobs just about as brutal as being a mangaka. One big difference is while they work so many long hours, they get paid wages that are barely livable.

Moe puts people off, and considering how much Japanese moe otaku loved Madoka, that can put them off more.
 
I'll try to have a beta for you guys in February. That'll give me plenty of time to make something worth playing.

I would try to get something out sooner, but alas... I deleted my Windows partition off my Mac, so I can't make a Windows version yet (which I assume most of you are using). I plan on buying an Über-pimpin' Windows laptop in February to compliment my MacBook Pro, so that's where the February date comes from. But it's possible that military obligations might make it even later before I can release a beta.

Too bad it's only four episodes, but it's four episodes of awesomeness. Acts 1 and 2 are kinda slow, and it isn't until acts 3 and 4 (The final one.) that things really get good.

It's something I highly recommend, even if you don't have any intention of watching the Rurouni Kenshin TV series. This is better than it anyway.
