What do you mean? I can turn the subtitles off on all of my ADV discs.
You can, for only the English dubbed track. You have only two options, watching the English dub, or watching the original Japanese with English subtitles. You can't watch the Japanese version without subtitles, there is no possible way to have no subtitles appear when someone wants to watch it raw.
I know I'm not interested in this, but.. I got this update on Facebook today, some of you might be interested.
Gawdammit, I was going to post about that.

I think it's almost natural to assume a film released after the series will be recaps.... re-read that carefully before you jump the gun, TC.
It won't be most likely, especially for a series that made more money in home video sales alone than any other anime in recent years. Madoka Magica broke sales records, 50,000+ of the first single sold in the first week.

Anyway, some randomness. I'm still somewhat surprised Rightstuf still has like 100 (Or close to 100.) of each (Except volume 1.) of the special edition versions for the original 12 Eureka Seven singles. They're a great deal if you want both the manga and anime as buying the Anime Legends box sets, and then the manga will be more money. It's a better bargain personally.

Damn it's slow in here today.<_<
Might as well post a gif I found months back from an obscure, unlicensed title that I can't remember it's name. Never seen it.

And if it ends up different? If it's a recap movie, Shaft knows it won't do all that well.

Look at the 2nd Bleach movie (Yes I know, you dropped the show and consider it bad.). They made it in mind with after the Aizen thing being resolved (Years before that got resolved. That finally was resolved last year.), and it turned out great.

There have been many series where people thought they couldn't really go anywhere, and bam, they did with OVA's, a movie, or even a new season. At times, it blows people away in awe.

I've seen series like this before where you think they can't really do anything after it's done, but then they do.
It all depends on the creators..
(Replying to the edit.)
True, but give Shaft more credit. You're watching a show they made a few years ago currently, Bakemonogatari. You know what they can do.

Guess you're scared about how Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood got a movie this year then?:p

More isn't always bad on a show you really love, except Bleach. Tite Kubo, why do you got to try making it go on for 10 more years? I want more, but not 10 more years, not even 5 more years, gawdamn.

Then my mistake. I'll admit I've never tried turning them off when listening to the Japanese track. And I do believe you but I am going to try it anyway lol.

And yes we know the Madoka movie may not be a recap and they could do other things regardless of how it ended but it seems like it could be a recap. Please stop talking.

In other news I hadn't planned on drinking tonight but suddenly I have alcohol so I guess I will...

Watch Excel Saga while drunk.:)

I wonder what it feels like to watch anime drunk, though I'll probably never try.

Watch Excel Saga while drunk.:)

That would kill me

I tend not to watch shows when drunk because I forget what I've seen. Unless it's something I've seen before. Kind of like when doing homework I'll usually put on a movie I've already seen so I don't have to concentrate, yet at the same time I can have background noise. Comedies are always great while intoxicated. Usually though if I'm at home drinking I just play videogames and post on forums.

I've totally watched anime with you while you were drunk, Sephy :D

Yeah but if it's something I hadn't seen before I have to re-watch it. Remember Angel Beats!? Yeah, I started it over from the beginning. Same with CLANNAD. lol.

I was about to do that in Physics today.

No sleep for you!

Grr. The Mac version of Game Maker is so painful to use sometimes...

Really makes me wish I had access to the Windows version right now. :grumpy:

I've got some great tilesets, but laying the world out with them with the Mac version of Game Maker is... not gonna happen. I simply don't have the patience. So progress in that department is halted until either Game Maker 9 (Release date: Sometime between Jan 1, 2012 and Dec 31, 2012) released or I get a laptop with Windows. :(

I'll get coding on the battle engine for now, and maybe I'll shelve my plans of buying a $4000 behemoth of a laptop and just go for something I can actually afford soon.

So THAT's what you were using.....totally forgot Game Maker existed.

Totally.

You've used Game Maker, AOS? You wouldn't happen to have any experience/skill in the spriting department, would you? :dopey:

I finished downl.... err acquiring Steins;Gate. Let's hope it's as good as the Lol(i)boys make it out to be because it's 250+ mb per episode.

I have whenever, but due to financial situations, I haven't been able to get my allowance from September and October, nor have I been able to be payed for the yardwork I've done. I don't want some of this limited edition only stuff to sell out before I can get it.:(

The stuff I want soon (Yes one thing isn't limited edition only, but I like the cover art more than the Viridian Collection and upcoming S.A.V.E. release.), in order.

Sigh, I hate not having a job (It's a long story.).:(

Episodes 1 and 2 bored me to death, and a guy he recommended it to on another forum didn't like it, and won't continue. He has converted a lot of people into Steins;Gateism though.<_<

I've never used Game Maker before, but give me like 8 hours and I can pick up on it real fast, especially if it's sprites. I used to draw animation sequences for fun...
on SRK, someone had a thread for people to make up a better looking Ultra move for Akuma since his latest one is utter goof.

akumaultra3byaos.gif

It ain't smooth, but I couldn't have been bothered to make it better since it wasn't even a serious thing.

Let's hope it's as good as the Lol(i)boys.
Grain of salt, my friend... I made him watch the show, and even I'm not praising it as much as he is.
