No it's not! *lifts up table* Take it back, and your lemons!

Yeah dragonuv, when you say stuff like that, staff members will make their presence known. :indiff:

Drakinuv, you chicken.

salamihimi, I'd give you an answer if I even knew who is she and where she's from, but as you can probably tell by this post, I don't know.

My Ura Moka sketch has gotten a shockingly high amount of favourites on dA.... what, have people never seen better looking pictures of her? :odd: It's not even that great.

I like where this is going.
Trust me, smelling like LCL is not good.
"As I shall now demonstrate."
*snatches LCL spritzer away* "MWAHAHAHA!!! NOW TO INITIATE YURI IMPACT!!!" *sprays Asuka*
"BAKA-DK!!!"
*bursts in* "LCL!!!"

I hate the style used to illustrate their eyes... they look doped up and Rei's left eye is stupidly oversized.

I don't really like that style anyway. Their faces look weird. At least their plug suits are fine though. :)

Just finished Bakemonogatari. Now on to Asobi ni Ikuyo! and Zipang.

I usually hate anime music. I have to say that one is better than average though.

This is the kind of music I like listening to:

What discussion we have in here. Keep it up, folks. 👍

 The sarcasm.

Also why is it that when you post up a photo from GTP I can't see it up on the posts.

Think I'll be getting a slightly early night tonight...gute nacht, alle. :)

And that's all he had to say about it...

Its high points were countered by its slow pacing and scenes of nothing. When over half an episode takes place on a park bench or in a car it's difficult to stay with it to see the satisfying scenes, especially when the dialogue derails and the characters start talking about nothing. Plus points for style and unique camera angles with a twist on the usual harem plot. Minus points for being extremely slow and boring at times. A solid 5.

I know a few people liked this show, but I guess overall it wasn't my kind of thing.

It's also why I didn't say anything when I said I finished it because now I have to listen to you and Loliknife lol.

Nothing really happened, you're right. There was no real "story" or "conflict"..... it's like a straight-up Slice of Life, yet, didn't exactly seem like one with all the supernatural stuff happening. I almost feel like Bakemonogatari's intent was to deviate from the typical content and present to you random stuff that's made to look like some philosophical theory is present and being tested.... I'd say it's pretty experimental for that and I don't dislike it for that.... call me weird, but why always go the same route as people have in the past, right?

Because you're not special enough yet. Fear not, everyone starts off like that. You'll get there eventually.
[/sugarcoated rudeness] :p

Notice I gave it plus points for that. I like when people experiment and try to go in a different direction. As a result, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. With Bakemonogatari I like how they changed up the genre a little bit. But as far as dialogue, only Tarantino can pull of long conversions and not make them boring.

This is why I love you.

I don't watch or have looked into any Tarantino films, but I loved that one scene in Pulp Fiction.. the little details count 👍

too bad the one on me doesn't make me look prettier.

I was gonna post a video response but it would be so gay. So I'm not going to.

He's Kubo, he ain't gotta explain 🤬.
Because his manga has "heart", with no backgrounds.<_<

Why are disappoint?

Also, you are good at arguing here. :)
Because you didn't give it a perfect 10/10 like it deserves!!!:grumpy::p

Also I get into arguments on various things having to do with anime kinda frequently (So many different topics.). Some of these things I'm just sensitive about, like people saying all long-running shows pretty much are crap due to being long. 13-26 episodes was actually a pretty rare thing many, many years ago. Shows usually would go longer than 26 episodes, but considering the industry has had problems, and changed since then, 13-26 episodes is more common.

Also nice, ANN is seeing it as well.

The disadvantage of having a conventionalist like Yoshino on board is, quite naturally, his conventionality. He does a lot of recycling. Shu is one result, a direct descendant of generations of wishy-washy romantic comedy leads. Inori is as well, her personality (or lack thereof) and hints of back-story strongly recalling Evangelion's Rei Ayanami. The post-apocalyptic future, viral outbreak, and government oppression in the name of safety have all been floating around for years, as have little touches like the girl with mechanical cat ears. And when Yoshino isn't availing himself of the anime collective consciousness, he's recycling... himself. My-HiME contributed the materializing weapons derived from loved ones, and the colonization of Japan and oppressive regime armed with mecha are straight from Code Geass (to which Yoshino contributed). Even Gai, probably the most compelling of Guilty Crown's players, borrows his mission and methods from Lelouch Lamperouge—though minus the megalomania and cartoonish flourishes. I once said that if My-Otome was a drink it would be My-HiME Lite. If Guilty Crown was a drink, it'd be a cliché-smoothie.
Gai, he is almost exactly like Lelouch, and I noticed this in episode 2.

I wonder what episode 6 will bring. I hope it continues to go on the path of differentiating itself from Code Geass as it started to do so with episode 5.
