It's good to see that Miku did win this year though, she's been sponsored for the longest though of all of them. Even if Shinji had her champions belt on :sly:

Really great deals on the Fullmetal Alchemist manga box set right now. WAY cheaper than buying the manga individually (Here in America, manga usually goes for $10 a volume. So buying individually is $280-in Japan where it's usually $5, it's $140.). I'll be getting this next year, hopefully I'll have a job by then.

The fires and flooding were thankfully pretty minor.

The missile that self-destructed above the ship moments after we launched it was pretty "holy 🤬!"-inducing though. :lol:
 
Are you sure that was the missiles self-destructing? It could have been the combustible lemons my engineers developed...and the delectable doughnuts. Just saying.

It was the missile. :p

The missile was just doing what it was designed to do, though. They're made to self-destruct if we fail to establish a data link with it in a certain amount of time.

I've got a video of one of the other ships we were with, firing off two missiles. I don't have my iPod cable on me right now, and I have duty on Saturday so I'll be uploading it to Youtube on Sunday probably.

The video's alright... the ship looked a lot closer in real life though.

It's not designed to kill our own men, even though sometimes it seems like it. The self-destruct feature is there to prevent it from hitting unintended targets when we fail to establish communication with it and thus can't guide it to what we really want to kill. :lol:
 
Walter, if I hear anything about people being decimated by two missiles I'm totally reporting you for bad conduct...and homicide. :lol:

And I'm off to watch more of teh Japanese cartoons.

Will be watching yes, Steins;Gate 9-10, then Soul Eater 46-47, and then stuff I need to catch-up on. See you guys in a couple, to many hours.
