#escile  :D

Got up to Ep7 in Shinsekai Yori, it's getting interesting.

Depending on how good a Season of Anime is, for a 12 episode, I could watch it in a day if I had the time and really liked it or it would take a few days.

On average, how long does it take you to finish a season?View attachment 498028

It's almost like you're asking us how long it takes us to finish a tv show while having a distracting picture plastered to our face.

If that really was the question, then I'd say it takes about 30 minutes longer than usual.

2015 Good Smile Racing's Design for Miku.

I really like the composition of the flag and pose in this one. The facial expression is top notch moe... and the hair is flowing with movement and colour variety too.

Does look nicer than my Dead Master, but still would not own this figure.
I like the figure but the obscene shot is a bit too much. Though it's not like I expected any better.

If we're talking about a single 14 ep show, I usually split it out over two weeks.

I have finished entire seasons in a day, but the longest I've taken has been like six months. It depends on the show. If it's really hype then I'll finish it fast. Otherwise I'll lose interest after an episode or two and go do something else. Sometimes I'll just end up not watching it again at all.

Well, it is Japanese... You and I both know there's much worse than this.

On the other topic, I finished a 26 episode season in a weekend. Only because that show was going to be removed from streaming services and I wanted to see the rest of them.

Finished Love Live last night. Loved every minute of it, it's a genuine good quality anime that gets way too much bad rap - from people who have probably not even watched it, either. Characters are good (Honoka, Maki, Eli and Umi best girls). Nico isn't as bad as everyone makes her out to be, in fact her polarizing personality sort of gets cute towards the end. Plot is good, events are heartfelt and somewhat deep - and not over-dramatic, either. A lot of the themes are things I've gone through myself (no, not deciding to become a school idol :p ) with the value of your own skills and general self worth.

This was the most powerful sequence to me as well:

Mainly because this is something I go through on a daily basis. I feel like my talents are meager compared to the ones of my friends - and I lose hope in myself. Much like some of the themes in the anime.

I gave it a 7, but I'd give it a 7.5 if MAL would let me.

Is is 24 episodes of fluff (like what it seems from the outside) or does it actually have some worth?

I've only seen the first season so I can't speak for the rest.

I practically answered your question in my post though :p

Please, I've managed to take over a year and a half to finish one. I've also taken about three years to finish an entire franchise worth of anime, and maybe two are still ongoing.

I was curious to see how fast you guys finish a season. Currently, i am watching Durara and on episode 13...ish.

Shinsekai Yori is going innnnnnnnnnnnnn. I'm on Episode 12 now and yes I saw the scene everyone was causing a fracas about.

Please stay promising and end up good Shinsekai, please....

Oh man I dropped Shinsekai Yori accidentally and I just have not had the urge to pick it up again. Maybe one day, but now I have a ton of manga my friend wants me to read.

Yo I read Battle Royale.
I'm glad good things happened to Shinji Mimura
What a guy.
Deserved good things.
Took the clutch shot.

Made the clutch shot.

I think Shinsekai Yori should be the next big topic of discussion in this thread since it's garnered a bit of attention here.

I've encountered a lot of "huh?" and "Oh wait.... Yeeeeeeessss" moments with it so far.
It makes me wonder what the ending will be like. Plus it's good to get different views.

@SVX, watch it, give us a write up for that too and Saki is your waifu

Yeah, we must start a discussion on this brilliant anime.

Shinsekai Yori 25 Finale

Good stuff! Beautiful ending.

I didn't see the DNA stuff coming, but I did have a gut feeling the queerats were upset humans took something from them and none of the humans were admitting it. I'd hate them too if I was in their position.

Had I not read the episode summaries after each episode, I wouldn't have understood each episode as much as I did during my rewatch a few months ago.

All you're missing is the wall scroll, daikimakura, and the mouse pad.
Didn't know you acquired that many figures.

Two more on the way :/ and that pic is missing the Rebellion one with her familiars and some Charlotte Nendo that arrived lately.
