Well, today I found out why my friend carries around the same copy of some obscure manga every day. He has, shall we say, explicit material hidden in the book, like a secret compartment.

I am currently watching Shakugan no Shana. It's messed up. Between the incest twins and the drunkard, I have no idea what's going on, including the girl who looks 10 but is actually like 16-17.

Vexille - 👍👍

It was made by the same people that made Appleseed.

(edit )Doing a quick search it seems that:
Mogi is coming back from college
A Supra, Miata,Evo7 and a Mr2 Battles.
Extra Stage 2 will be focusing on Ikentani and Mako

^ I don't know, since version 4 Takumi is more like a lifeless robot (even Gundam Wing has more emotion than him). Natsuki won't make any difference, she should had stayed in Tokyo. :indiff:

Well after viewing another forum I was a member of, I found a better article about the Initial D 5th stage:

Special thank to Club Carisma and preludeboy.

Enjoy!!

So have a read if you want, seems interesting enough to follow. :D

Well, I've taken some time away from this thread and I figured I'd update the log. :sly:

Naruto, the manga is up to 419 and things are developing nicely... (spoilers)
Naruto has completed the "Sage" training and shown better mastery than Jairaiya. Sage Mode Naruto may be able to beat Pein.
Speaking of Pein (or is it Pien? ), He's just arrived in Konoha. :trouble:

That's it for the Manga, the Anime on the other hand...
Team Asuma has just encountered Akatsuki... Asuma will die in the next episode (indicated by the title of the next episode as well as the story of the manga). Sad story, great fighting, and lots more of both are on the way (as well as Naruto's new power).

Other stuff I'm reading and watching right now...
Bleach, both watching and reading... The Manga is dealing mostly with characters not directly related to Ichigo's story and generally speaking the Manga is good but slow moving (slow moving for me as I'd like to see this Cpt. Aizen thing get dealt with :p ).
The Anime is at a climax...
Ichigo is now fighting the new captain, Cpt. Amagi. Amagi infiltrated the 13 squads to assassinate the top dude and now he's trying but Ichigo has stepped in to stop the non-sense. 👍

I've taken a moment to start watching Gurren Langan or whatever but haven't had much time... I've also done the same for Soul Eater (crazy toon like FLCL on Halloween night). :D

Other than that I'm not doing anything new... Oh, I also happened to catch a Samurai X episode and a Kenshin episode, both were great and the Kenshin was much better than on TV as I saw an unedited version. 👍 👍

Until next time,
-

PS. This is the cover of the Manga issue that will be shown in the Anime's next double episode. :(

Well, as you can see from my Signature, I'm watching Maburaho, which no one in their right minds should watch. But in the case that you aren't, you might like it.

Just wiki'd it.

:O Harem :)

How is it?

Im currently watching and reading lots but the PSP nights are...

Final Approach (13 eps, 9mins long...)
To Heart 2 (nearly done)
Hayate no Gotoku (bout 12 more eps)

Recently finished
Mahoraba Heartful days
Seto no Hanayome (must watch really funny)
Finished Sekirei (that reminds me of the manga :o)

Ive watched too much which is my problem with naming all manga and anime.

I tend to choose the animes with comedy of course, a bit of romance, and some nice ecchi. But not always of course. Theres always some nice shounen stuff and the odd freaky manga (mirai nikki - blood, beheading, killing, more blood, ecchi for some odd reason... and awkward romance...)

Anyone gonna watch Gundam 00 season 2?

Oh yeah, Metropolis was definitely one of the best anime movies out there. 👍 Too bad animes like that is hard to come by these days....... :indiff:

I saw it when i was about 11 or 12 and it always stuck in my mind. I'm trying to get hold of a torrent version at the minute.

I think you can find the whole movie in 11 parts on youtube anyway.

http://www.youtube.com/user/englishbyblood

Search his videos for metropolis and it gives all 11.

Well, I keep it a general rule to watch the intro the first time I watch something, and I've already had my cerebellum melt on me, and I'm only on the intro to Lucky Star. Oh dear.

EDIT: HOW THE HELL CAN YOU TALK ABOUT FOOD FOR 10 MINUTES STRAIGHT?!?

EDIT2: They're in the 11th grade?!?

EDIT3: *twitch*

Fiat creates special edition Fiat 500 Lupin III

fiat_500_lupiniii.jpg

If the song is true that "to everything, turn turn turn, there is a season, turn turn turn," then we're going to need a lot more seasons for the Fiat 500. In addition to versions by StudioTorino, Diesel and Abarth, not to mention a convertible and an F1-themed run of 12, Fiat is making a special edition 500 to celebrate the car's appearance in the movie Lupin III: Green vs Red.

The Japanese anime film itself celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Lupin III series of movies, which began in 1979 when gentleman thief Lupin III used a yellow Fiat 500. While the film is out now on DVD, the special edition Fiat 500 in yellow livery and graced with Lupin's image won't come around until the latter half of 2009, and probably only in Japan. If Fiat keeps this up, it might just challenge the Ford Mustang for the title of Most Gratuitous Special Editions Differentiated by Inconsequential Details. Thanks for the tip, catgirlshyla!
^ It's a good thing that a car manufacturer honors an anime series. I hope Toyota would follow suit with the next Trueno. :)

I think that they did or PD did it for them in GT4. Other wise the Trueno that is mostly is Bunta's car is DK's 86. Or that Shuichi Shigeno

He also owns a Steel Blue Mica-colored 1999 WRX Type STi Version 5 with a STi sports bumper (a part from the STi sport catalogue made to look like the 22B STi bumper but fits non-wide body Imprezas) just like the main character's father, Bunta. The Voice actor of Itsuki
That was good....👍
Speaking of Initial D, I started watching 1st Stage again. Bring some good memories about the whole Akina Speedstars gang and how they mature during their life. Also had to say the 3D cars in the 1st series is downright crap when compared with 4th Stage....

Just watched the last episode of Code Geass R2... R2 as a whole has been pretty mediocre, but the ending was kinda nice, if a little ambiguous.

Uh, yeah. Love Hina. First episode and I come to this conclusion: not something I watch with the family.

Hey all... Just thought you guys might want to know that right at this moment Cartoon Network is airing "Batman: Gotham Knight" and I'm happy to be watching it. I'll report back in once it's over.

Btw, Love Hina... Definitely not a family show. :ouch: :banghead:

Edit:
Gotham Knight was good. Not great but still good. Lots of Batman goodness that made him much more of a super hero than the movie can do. Super speed, power, and amazing skills were all present. The only problem was the inconsistent stories... One story would be a great testament of Batman's development and the next wouldn't be very impressive.
Overall I enjoyed the program but a more detailed review would definitely have a few complaints mixed in with the praises.
