EDIT: Ah, yes. in order to clear out my mind, for I will most likely dream of killing large amounts of people, I'm now watching Kodomo no Jikan. I just started, and I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into, due to the warning just before the actual episode. Well, here I go. Itidakimasu! (I think I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese...)

EDIT2: Oh god. What have I done? What's the most effective way of clawing out my own eyes?
(Oh no! Even worse is that I'm eating Turkey sausages and milk! Oh god!)

L.A. Trip-> Beside on my tour at the LA Auto Show last weekend, I was in a relentless pursuit of anime stores in L.A. Besides the anime store that I usually go at the Westside Pavillion Mall, Power Anime. I've discovered one of the biggest in downtown L.A., its a store by Little Tokyo called Jungle Anime and I almost went nuts!

-> I went so nuts, I spent a worth of USD$130 for anime merchandise. Including something to hang on my S2K's rear view mirror:

It was... different. Though It seems pretty decent so I shall keep watching

I do know if I were to have my own street racing anime/manga I would most definitely roll in a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A that is rather heavily customized
In fact, it would look a lot like This model

Speaking of street racing I would like to watch Wangan Midnight, though from what I hear the subs are rather... poor. Though I do know a little about from what I heard from others who watched it. I can say that my evil Challenger could probably beat the "Devil Z"

I was wondering if any of our GTPlanet members in the US got to watch the first 2 episodes of Gundam 00 earlier tonight on Sci-Fi. If you did, what did you think of it?

I watched about 10 minutes of it and I could not stand it. I just went through subs of 00 Season 1, and the dubs made me sick. Maybe it's because I'm not used to dubs, but it was like they tried to make everything follow the mouth movements. Lines sounded, and felt, so slow and off, with little emotion. I'm definitely going to stick to subs. On to SEED Destiny now and likely Macross F before going back through the first season of 00 and on to season 2. Probably some Gurren Lagann and Code Geass sometime as well.

-> By far, the 00 is the best Gundam series I've seen since Gundam-W. Just the 1st episode was tingling with suspense. Unlike SEED, it is filled military sequences that I expect in a Gundam series instead of a emo-trip drama.

^ I can see that, and yes it was done poorly. There was not much dedication or fanbase to the series. And also, the original manga was published in the late 80's (way before Initial D). I would think that was the reason.

^ Nah, the impotant part was you have depth on your story. Most people see that before the artwork, just take a look on SDF: Macross.

^ I was about to disscuss this series, but you beat me to it!

-> I just watched the 1st episode, and I like it. It has that ecchi and moe factor that I like so much. Plus it also has the balance of a Full Metal Panic Fumoffu.

-> I stumbled upon it after watching ep.14 Wangan Midnight because of its visuals.

^ DearS is a very good series, but read the manga first. Although the anime follows the manga really well, the animation isn't and there are so many patches that are missing from the series. The manga artworks rivals to those made by CLAMP.

You'll enjoy Dear S.It's sorda like Girls Bravo a bit. And for Amaenaideyo, you'll have a hard time figuring out what's going on because of all the ecchi that's going on. Especially the half markers between commercials and what not. Nice pictures. 👍
