I'm really struggling to find a car that suits Messenger Nia...I mean finding my own for Yoko (Elise 111R) and real Nia (Integra) was easy enough but Messenger Nia is proving to be very difficult. Help please? Best idea gets an Internet cookie tomorrow. :D

May I remind you how far removed Messenger Nia actually is from real Nia. Besides which real Nia is an RM Integra with only turbos left for extra modification here...

Sadly is not in the game. The AEM S2000 isn't fitting enough nor customizable enough. The S2k Turbo would be a fine option, especially given it is a personal enemy of mine...but that's the problem there.
 
OAWSD(N)MB, although I'm guessing it's a bit pointless now. Especially since I discovered the long version of "It's Gendo".

Big problems with GSX-R.

1) Standard
2) Already done a tune for it

Although it would be a decent choice otherwise. Remind me which is the MkIV Supra again, I only remember chassis codes :lol: JZA90 has already been tuned in SZ-R form and is also Standard, only the '88 Supra is Premium and that ain't techy enough for me.

As above can't do Standards. I'm looking for red wheels see to match the anti-spiral hieroglyphs on her. Extra turquoise would be a bonus :sly: but I know that's barely possible. :(

That would be a cool choice though.

Damn things are getting serious, and seriously good. So one of the Selecao were responsible for Careless Monday, and Akira Tokizawa actually saved the people by deporting them beforehand from the six major cities that were bombed. Also rip Underpants.:(
This show is getting so much better. Episodes 10 and 11 will be epic when I watch them next Wednesday finishing up the show. Eden of the East FTW!!!:D
 
I've been thinking a lot about the mechanics of my Pokemon/Eva game today, and ultimately I've decided to scrap some of my initial ideas.

My initial ideas were narrowly focused on the idea of changing the traditional Pokemon game mechanics to make them more Eva-ish, with virtually no consideration of if it'd actually be fun to play or not.

One example would be that initially, I was planning to completely replace Pokemon's leveling system with a sync ratio system. Like levels, sync ratio would've determined the general strength of a Pokemon. Unlike levels though, a Pokemon's sync ratio could rapidly fluctute, even mid-battle. An interesting concept, but in practice, it would be very difficult to balance it just right.

But I've got some other ideas for some radical changes the the core Pokemon mechanics that I think will be pretty fun. :)

Turn based combat is unrealistic...you don't see people in karate take turns to do attacks lol. Only exception is dance-offs which is not fighting.

The point isn't to be realistic. The point is to put full emphasis on strategy, and allow players to take all the time they want to consider their next action. Like Chess. :p

Chess is not fighting and I don't understand it myself.

I think in about...ooh, 16 hours from now I might be electing who suggests the best Messenger Nia car...come on, you know you want any sort of cookie possible, even internet ones :D

Unlike chess, there is no random "missed attacks"... I love Gunbound for example because what determines if you hit the enemy is based on if you aimed at the right angle and use the correct amount of power... It's a turn-based shooter like Worms... THOSE games I love and miss playing. In fact, Nostalgia Drive just kicked in and I'm getting Gunbound Classic right now.
